With this combination of coach and walk, we will enjoy the third largest city in Norway from different perspectives.
We will start our adventure with a 2-hour city tour by coach from Pirbadet, near the the cruise terminal. We will head to Solsiden, a charming and vibrant district and pass by the colorful boat and warehouses along the river Nid. Hotel Britannia and the royal residence Stiftsgården also a must-see on this tour. We'll make a photo stop at the Sverresli viewpoint with a wonderful view of whole Trondheim. From here we'll head to Kristiansten fortress, where we'll make another photo stop.
The walking part of the tour will start at Nidarosdomen, the beautiful, northern-most cathedral in Scandinavia and the best-preserved Gothic building in Northern Europe. We will enjoy Bakklandet with the small colourful houses, we cross the Old Town Bridge and have a look at the bicycle lift, the unique one in the world. All this followed by interesting and amusing stories of our guides.

This tour is based on the arrival and departure times of cruise ships. Modified departure times of the tour may change and will be communicated.
Please leave a valid phone number (with the country code). In case of an invalid number, no refund can be granted.
This tour requires a minimum of guests, in case there are not enough, a refund will be provided.
The itinerary of the tour depends on weather and road conditions. In the case of a weather-related road restriction, an alternative tour will be organised.
Please bring a child safety seat with you if you need one.
The tour starts at Pirbadet parking lot. The bus will be parked there, it will have "Trondheim City Tours" logo in the windshield. The guide will wear a green jacket with "Trondheim City Tours" logo on the back.
Please note that the bus will continue on time after the stops and cannot wait for any tardy participants. The departure times will be announced by the guide.

5.00This was a delightful overview of Trondheim using coach and walking. The coach took us to 2 vantage points over the city giving spectacular views, before dropping us at the Cathedral. We then walked the highlights of the city en route back to the ship. This was a comprehensive tour of the highlights of Trondheim. The coach was extremely comfortable, with adequate air conditioning. The tour guide was first class - an easy to listen, informative guide, who spoke excellent English. She provided all the relevant information in a pleasant way. Thank you.
Great tour if you are on a cruise and want to get as much info as you can in the short time you are in port.

5.00This was an excellent tour. Our guide Vanessa was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information both about the sights and general facts about Norway. The bus tour took us to the out of way sights then the walking tour within the city was just the right amount of time to get a general overview. Just as info once you get off the bus in the city you do the walking tour which includes walking back to your ship. It was not that far and on mostly flat ground, just be aware there are a lot of cobblestones and some uneven ground to maneuver over.

1.00Meeting point showed wrong Pirbadet partink lot at 450 m. it was at 4,5 m., said you see a bus, but the bus was out of sight hidden in a corner. The tour is only for Germans, completly unbalanced fron German to English, 20 minutes in German/ 3 minutes in English. The guide was listening the explanation of Nidaros Cathedral from a note-book, I coul read the same text (and in Italian) by myself, no professionality at all, extemporisation extreme, extreme kind, in truth, they tried do their best but they weren't up to the task.

5.00This trip was pleasantly entertaining, you got all the important information and the guide told everything fluently in German and English. The bus was super air conditioned, up to date and the driver was also very nice. Through this excursion you have seen the most important first by bus and then by foot already Trondheim.
