Take the challenge and feel the satisfaction as you reach the summit! An exciting climbing adventure awaits you at Øyfjellet just outside Mosjøen. Via ferrata means “iron path”. Hook yourself onto the thick wire that is securely attached to the mountainside, and ascend safely using natural holds and steps in the mountain. This mountain-climbing adventure doesn’t require any specialised knowledge or prior experience. On our way back to the city, we goes to he "neighbour" mountain - Storfjellet. Here is the start of the 700 meter long zipline! From here you can savour a bird’s eye view of the historic Sjøgata street, Mosjøen and the town’s environs as you fly over the salmon river Vefsna, landing in the beautiful gardens of Fru Haugans Hotel. A fantastic fun and memorable day ending with an incredible adrenalin rush! Before takeoff, we secure your body harness to the powerful wire. An automatic braking system ensures a safe airborne adventure! Minimum 12 years. Min/Max weight 40/110 kg.

Good personal service via chat before booking. Good and pleasant guide. We chose a combi, ViaFerrata and Zippline, then could also walk the stairs up the last part and down again to Zipp. Both the tour via HiNorth and the stairs generally recommended

We had tried Via Ferrata in Loen before this. We read online that this should be more challenging. But it didn't vote at all. Nice and easy running. But more that is steep walk in the terrain than climbing. Nice view of Mosjøen. We have climbed a little before and this could fine go on its own without a guide if one has via Ferrata equipment themselves. Some guide also confirmed. The only challenge is to know where the track is due to defective signs/marking. The ending with Zip Line was an airy and fun ending.

Great day, challenging enough Via Ferrata, excellent guides who ensured safe and enjoyable climbing at all times. Zipwire was a perfect end to a great day. Only thing to be aware of is lots of steps to reach Via Ferrata start and many more to get back down... need to be relatively fit to enjoy.

Great Via Ferrata combining Helgelandstrappene. You can make it as hard (technical without cheating using the cables) or as easy (using the cables) as you like! Probably a grade B, in two stages: climb the trappene till just after 350m (20 min hike), then hike up to the start (15 mins), there is a nice stream for a face splash/drink and off you go. Each section is about 45 mins each, the first takes you into a platau where you can stop and enjoy the views or lunsj! Another 5 minute boulder across the mountain and the second section begins (30/45mins). The VF ends about 765m approx onto the trappene, so you can hike up to the summit of Øyfjell 818m or head back down. We ran down so took us about 2hours 10 mins in total from starting the steps to finishing at the bottom! You can book your trip through Hi North, and add on a Zipline to the experience for an additional cost. Great Views and Great experience!

Great tour, nice guide, and nice to sail over the river with zipline when the legs were tired after view ferata and many climbed down the stairs to the end.

Via ferrata and zipline. Fantastic trip up the mountain, even with height scare and cool zipline😊 We had 2 guides with and both did a good job with info and guidance.

Great experience and fit challenging. Flinke guides who are concerned that everyone should have a nice trip and feel mastery.. Recommended and you don’t need to be in super shape.
