• Excellent excursion to see the Southern highlights of Dominica

  Our trip out today from our Holland America ship was scheduled to last two and a half hours - it was called ‘Open Air Scenic Southern Highlights’. There were 12 of us on our vehicle, an ex-military open truck. Our guide was very informative, telling us much about the island as we drove to the first stopping point - the Scotts Head Bay marine reserve just past the small community of Soufriere. We ascended to a viewing point where we could get out and stretch our legs. We were then driven the short distance back to Soufriere where we could walk to the small beach - called ‘Bubble beach’. The water here was heated by geothermal vents. An area had been sandbagged off to keep the hot water in - it was the same sort of temperature as a hot bath. We decided to give the church a pass and we walked around the pretty village. Our final stop was at a very attractive bed and breakfast establishment called ‘Charlotte Estate’ just on the outskirts of the capital of Roseau. We were given complimentary fruit juices and we could sit on the terrace and appreciate the spectacular garden, keeping an eye out for humming birds. We thought this was a well-organised trip and we gained a great deal by listening to the guide’s excellent delivery. He spoke with great passion about the island and we felt the trip represented particularly good value for money.

  I really enjoyed our excursion with Wacky Rollers. Our guide, Dominique, was amazing! He talked the whole trip to and from giving us information about what we were seeing, the island, the people, their culture. So informative! When we got to the Gorge, I wasn't sure I should attempt it, since I had a sore shoulder. Dominique assured me I would be taken care of. The driver, Jude, had me hold onto a life ring and he pulled me along behind him so I was able to enjoy the experience. I was so impressed by them both.

  Had a great trip with Steline and Wayne very knowledgable and informative and good fun. Swimming up to the water fall was brilliant but staff helped us as and when required it was against the current ,but what amazing view when we got there .

  Awesome tour, guide Claude is outstanding. Beautiful rainforest, waterfalls and the gourde swim up to the waterfall is not to be missed!!!!!!

  We were a group of eight and had another couple with us in our 4x4 truck, which was an amazing ride into the rainforest and the Highpoints of Dominica Ash was our tour guide and she was so sweet friendly- really knowledgeable on what Dominica has to offer as well as answering all our questions that we had . We had Johnny as our driver and he was amazing!! Very good driver and helpful throughout the tour. The boiling points was fascinating to see, and the tour guides allowed us to touch the water as it trickles down to the end of the boiling point where it is warm. This was nice. It made your skin really smooth. The rest of the tour guides constantly checked in with us and made sure that we are doing and feeling okay. We were also given a coconut snack and some local rum punch and fresh cold water. The coconut snack was amazing. Rum punch really has a punch but it goes down smooth. They give it to you after the swimming of course lol Then… it came time to do the titou gorge waterfall experience. We were asked if we were strong swimmers and unfortunately me and my sister could not swim however they reassured us that we would have a personal lifeguard and lifeboat to hold onto as well as the life vest that all persons are required to wear. Despite being very scared, they encouraged us and supported us and gave us step-by-step instructions. The water is 50 to 100 feet deep and there is a strong current…however if you cannot swim or you are not a strong swimmer, you can still do this experience because of how supportive all the team were- again you will have a personal lifeguard if you cannot swim. Remember you have a life vest so naturally you are going to float . The young guys Helped me and my sister the whole time and made a joke out of us being scared which really helped us relax and ease our worries and they got good pictures of us in the waterfall as well. Everyone was so friendly and I am so glad I pushed myself to do the waterfall. I encourage anyone else who is not the most confident in water to do the same experience . As I come from Dominica and it was my first time visiting Dominica this was an amazing experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat and recommend anyone coming into Dominica to do it with the wacky rollers !!proud to be 🇩🇲🇩🇲🇩🇲 Thanks guys 💚🤍

  Did the4x4, falls and caves with Berky(?). The tour was informative, exciting and him and the crew made it a wonderful experience!! Very informative and fun. Learned a lot about Dominica. Would definitely recommend!!!

  Claude M was the best tour guide we’ve ever had. Our group had so much fun and it was so cool to drive through the rainforest. Waterfalls were amazing and we loved the tour. Only tip to add would be to wear water shoes to get to the falls. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

  This company has great equipment and wonderful guides. They work hard all over the island to share their country and their culture. Despite severe hurricane damage over the years this island nation has pulled together and offer visitors much knowledge and fun. We loved Dominica and the Wacky Rollers guides on several tours.

  My husband and I did this tour through Carnival and it was amazing! Patrice was the tour guide and Edgar was the driver. Our cruise was a 14-day and 8 island itinerary, and this excursion was definitely one of our favorites out of all of them! Patrice was very knowledgeable about the island and we learned so much and saw so many beautiful areas of Dominica. At the end Patrice and Edgar handed out Caribbean rum and delicious coconut bread.

  My wife and I went on this tour while cruising on Celebrity Beyond. The guide Daryl was excellent ,very knowledgeable and friendly. The driver Jude should get a medal for handling the roads. My wife and I felt this was the best excursion we took during our cruise and would love to do it again some time. After the tour I felt like I have new Friends.
