Polish food is delicious, varied, and a real melting pot of influences. If you’re visiting Krakow, a food tour is a fantastic way to learn about the city’s gastronomic heritage while sampling some of its best dishes.
During the 3.5-hour tour, you’ll sample 13-14 Polish foods at some of the best spots in Krakow. Experience Old Town Market Square as well as wander through the Jewish District Kazimierz. After sampling Polish street food we sit down to enjoy a food platter and then we will try traditional Polish main courses.
Your English-speaking guide will share stories and anecdotes about Krakow’s rich food culture.

5.00Agata and Julia were amazing guides. They were so deeply knowledgeable, engaging and kind. The stops were thoughtful, delicious and interesting. I felt so well taken care of-this was an incredible tour and I wouldn’t think twice about recommending this to anyone or even doing it again.

5.00Excellent food tour! Well worth the money. Start to finish, the tour guide was helpful, kind, friendly and very knowledgeable. She really looked after us and took us to some wonderful places where we got to try the local cuisine of Krakow. Overall a fabulous experience.

5.00We recently enjoyed this food tour in Krakow. Our guide Jadzia was fabulous, she gave us a wonderful 3.5 hours and shared lots of interesting facts, not just about Polish food and the samples we were trying, but also about the history of Krakow and what it was like growing up in Poland for her and for her parents and grandparents. We tried 10 different foods and drinks, which included 4 different flavours of the dumplings. All the food we tried was delicious, good sized portions and we didn’t go hungry. I am vegetarian (my husband is a meat eater) and there was a delicious option for me at every single food stop. We learnt so much and more importantly, we got to sample Polish food that we would never have known about, or been brave enough to try on our own. So much so, we actually returned to some of the restaurants and food vendors later on during our trip. We do food tours in nearly all the cities we visit in the world and we would rank this one as very high up on our list of recommendations.

4.00It was a nice tour. I´m used to get more drinks in a food tour, we only had 3 drinks (1 lemonade, that was not even included originally, 1 liquor and a drink at the diner. I was expecting to try some wodka and other specialities). But the food was very nice.

5.00Our Krakow food tour was fantastic! We had so many traditional Polish dishes. We can’t even remember all of them! Our our guide was a wonderful young woman who not only was very knowledgeable, but also very excited to share this beautiful city and all of the delicious food with us. The food tour lasted from 2 o’clock until close to six and we won’t need to eat again until morning! Fortunately, we did a lot of walking on this tour, which hopefully helped to walk off some of the food that we ate. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn both about the culture and the food of Poland, and Krakow specifically. We had potato pancakes with goulash and sour cream, two different soups, pierogi, a piece of cheese grilled and served with a cranberry compote along with three traditional drinks and a delicious apple dessert. Oh, I forgot the appetizer of a seasoned beef with melted cheese and a sauce served on a small “bun” made of a baguette.
