You will learn how to cook authentic Thai cuisine from a Thai chef with long experience from restaurants and are widely renowned for their good cooking. As well, they get very good reviews for teaching Thai cooking. Also, they have very good knowledge of spices, herbs, and other plants from the garden. You learn by a practical, hands-on approach to cook and to impress your friends back home, with green Thai curry, fragrant soups, or stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts and many more dishes!!
• Learn how to make Thai 4 dishes from a local Thai chef and dine on your creations after the class.
• Classes are available in both the morning and afternoon, with different dishes taught each day. So, you're free to choose a time and menu that works for you.
• Enjoy the convenience of pick-up and drop-off direct from your hotel.
• Discover all the secrets to cooking delicious and authentic Thai food with this fun cooking class.

All dishes can be either vegetarian, vegan, spicy or non spicy to suite to your own taste.
Children aged between 7-11 years and can choose only 2 dishes.
The group chooses 4 out of 10 dishes together, individually you can choose type of meat etc.as well as spice level.
The person who comes with but doesn't want to cook pay an extra 500 Baht per person. Includes share of food and transportation.
There are at least 2 people required to start the cooking class. The class size is limited to maximal 12 persons.

5.00This was so fun and delicious! Our teacher was funny and kind, and we learned new chopping skills, new ingredients, new techniques. We went in the low season (July) so it was just us and the teacher. We made larb with chicken, massaman curry, sweet and sour prawn stir fry, and mango sticky rice. We were given a recipe book with 10 dishes that we will take back as well.

5.00The Lanta Thai cooking school I can heartily recommend. The cooking class was a special experience. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about Thai cuisine. We were lucky and were a small group of four people, which made the whole thing even more special.

5.00Great experience. They gave us loads of good information on common Thai ingredients and what to look for when purchasing them. We got to cook our own portions and customize them to our own taste. Foood was delicious. The location is absolutely beautiful!!

5.00The food was amazing, the location really nice, the staff super nice! We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about Thai cuisine, really recommend this place. I am a vegetarian and the adapted food is excellent for me.

5.00Superb experience. The recipes are varied and quite easy to make. Everything is in English so you need a minimum of mastery of the language otherwise the experience may be less appreciated. The cooks are very attentive and friendly. And you will taste your dishes, so obviously very good. I recommend.

5.00Spent half a day in the Lanta Thai cookery school with our lovely teacher San. We had the opportunity to cook 4 different dishes that we selected as a group during our welcome drink. Then it was straight to ingredients and prepping before we cooked and ate eat dish in turn. We were given lots of tips and tricks to use as well as a booklet with all of the recipes in to take home. It was a really enjoyable experience. We were given the choice of cooking chicken, prawns or veggie so there’s choice for all dietary preferences. Make sure you go there hungry! They will box leftovers up for you, but be warned, there is a lot of (amazing!) food :)
Fantastic - worthwhile for people with a lot of cooking experience as well as for occasional cooks

5.00Last night we were able to experience the dinner cooking class with Sun. We learned, laughed and tasted so much. This cooking school is very well organized and takes place in a strikingly beautiful house on the first floor above a popular restaurant. The team chose 4 dishes from a small cookbook, which we prepared together. Yesterday we cooked: Krab Minced Gai Salad, Spring Rolls, Massaman Curry and Sticky Rice with Mango. Everything was explained step by step - Sun is a great teacher. There were 7 of us participants from the USA, Belgium and Germany.
