At Turtle Cove, Buck Island National Wildlife Refuge your professional snorkel guide will provide you with all the necessary instruction to use your snorkel gear, and take you along the surface on an unforgettable, fun, and informative marine life adventure. You will swim amongst numerous species of colorful fish, beautiful coral reefs, and green sea turtles. Upon your return, you will be served a snack and drinks from our top-shelf open bar. Then it’s off on another exhilarating ride to our second site— beautiful Honeymoon Beach, Water Island where you can enjoy either catching some sun on the boat, on our floats, or on the warm sand on the beach.

3.00Booked for the small group experience. Unfortunately, the first snorkelling spot we had shared with 300 other snorklers from other cruise ship tours. I have nothing negative to say about the crew or the boat as the crew were great and the boat was very nice and roomy. We were expecting a little bit more away from the crowd experience but didn’t get that. The second stop was quiet with very few people We did see two or three turtle but nothing else to look at. If you’re looking for a nice ride on a beautiful boat with a few drinks, this is your excursion. But don’t book hoping for a quieter experience that has lots of fish to see.

Booked this excursion based on activities advertised, not knowing specifics of the boat, crew, etc. Arriving at the departure point, which was well defined and easy to walk to from cruise ship, we observed several large catamarans docking to load passengers. Naturally we assumed one of these would be ours. Seeing the smaller boat pull up after large ones left was a little shocking. But it turned out to be the best option we could have dreamed of. The big boats were basically floating bars, holding 80 or more people. The Someday Charters boat held a maximum of 12, with 2 crew. Capt. Joe and Catie were professional and welcoming from the onset. At our first stop at Little Buck Island we were soon joined by 4-5 of the larger boats and the waters were swarming with snorkelers. Catie took our smaller group into the water and helped us find the turtles as well as giving us details of the other ocean life we were seeing. The other groups just wandered aimlessly around us while their crews stayed on board. Joe prepped us for what we'd see including stories of the island nature preserve and destruction that had taken place in several different hurricanes. We left the area first and went to Water Island to a secret cove on a secluded beach that had many turtles grazing on the bottom and occasionally surfacing for air. Our trip also included treats from pastries to every level of liquid refreshments you could want. We were truly thrilled by the experience they provided. We have eagerly recommended them to several people before we even finished our cruise. You can't go wrong with Someday Charters.

5.00Captain Joe and Catie were great hosts. The tour is not too big (16 people tops) . Some of the boat tours down here are PACKED with 40 or more. They served drinks and fresh fruit and veggies for a snack. Also they were very informative and careful. This has to be one of the best tours on the island.

5.00Joe and Katie were excellent! Very professional and still entertaining. Limiting the trip to 12 passengers made for a much better experience. The snorkeling destinations were great, saw lots of marine life. Cocktails and snacks are complimentary, Katie makes a great painkiller 👍🏻

5.00This snorkeling Excursion with Someday was one of the best we have taken in terms of the excellent communication, boat and the crew. The tour operator gave very specific instructions on where to meet and sent a reminder text that morning to confirm our reservation. The boat was a high-end vessel that was very comfortable for our small group of eight passengers. Caity and Captain Joe were wonderful! Safety and comfort were their top priorities. We learned about the history of the surrounding Caribbean Islands as well as information about the local marine life. The snorkeling was good and we saw a lot of fish and several sea turtles. The snacks of fresh cut pineapple and melon and the cocktails and drinks were high-end. We have taken many snorkeling excursions in different parts of the world, and this was one of the best. If you are trying snorkeling for the first time, I would highly recommend this excursion because of the exceptional crew, boat and service.

5.00This was such a phenomenal experience!! Catie and Joe are the best!! We really enjoyed snorkeling and they were so hospitable and made the boat ride absolutely wonderful!!! Would definitely recommend!!!!

5.00A perfect half day cruise with Joe and Catie leading the way. Great history, Catie swam with our small group and told us about the turtles and fish we saw. Excellent snacks and drinks. Highly recommend!!!

5.00This has to be one of the best Charters when you are in St. Thomas. The service and experience is top notch. The ship is beautiful and its a smaller, more intimate experience. Some of these charters are elbow to elbow with 30 plus people. But not this one 15-18 people max.

5.00The snorkeling trip was nice. We had to take a taxi from our cruise ship to the meeting spot of “Someday”. We were quickly met by Catie and had a good experience with them. The small tour size of 12 people was a great and friendly experience. We had gear ready for us and they even gave us some snacks and mixed drinks. We saw many fish and turtles. Overall a very nice experience.
