Experience a 5.5-hour guided tour to Martinborough, one of New Zealand's premier wine regions.
Departing from Wellington, the tour follows the Hutt River through the Hutt Valley and over the Remutaka Ranges, with a sightseeing stop at the Summit (555m). In the Wairarapa valley, the winery town of Martinborough awaits, where you'll visit THREE of the region’s top wineries to enjoy their Cellar Door experiences and sample world-class wines. Your driver guide will provide narration and share local knowledge about this stunningly beautiful area throughout the journey.

5.00Talk about fun and informative! It all started with the driver and didn't stop until we were dropped off at the end. LOL We visited Poppies, Moys and ... John.

5.00Not mom and pop wineries. Ask questions as information is not really given except about the taste. We are interested in growing techniques and soil and our questions were answered. Guide / driver had a great sense of humor. Lunch food at the second winery was pricy but excellent.

5.00The whole day went so smoothly, and our guide Peter was largely responsible for this. He was very informative and friendly. Each of the wineries had excellent staff who knew their wines and the wine industry, and our lunch was delicious. We tasted some wonderful wines. We would highly recommend this wine tour. Thanks Peter.

4.00We went to 3 wineries, 1 large & 2 small. The trip over the mountains to get to the vineyards was beautiful. Time always seems to be too short when you're enjoying yourself. Felt a little rushed at the last tasting, Poppies. It was crowded and had to stand at the bar. No water available between pours. I did enjoy the extra stop at C'est Cheese to sample the Brie it's know for.

5.00Lovely trip to Martinborough , nice small group and nice wineries , great escape the city to see and taste the local wines produced “all the same .. but all very different “ Our guide Gary was lovely guy, very informative and knowledgeable and also a trooper , we left items in the bus and he went out of his way later to return them to our hotel and most probably in his own time ! Thank you very much

5.00This was a lovely day visiting 3 wineries and having lunch at #2. Each winery was excellent but my husband and I enjoyed Poppies. Lunch was excellent! Our driver, Michael talked to everyone and learned our names! He was very knowlegable about the area and told us stories. He was a cautious driver stopping the van to explain things to us. Even though it was a rainy day, Michael make it sunny for us! It was the right amount of time for wine tasting!
Fantastic wine tour, Gary was excellent and very knowledgeable , his choice of wineries was brilliant.
