Departing from Wellington, the tour follows the Hutt River through the Hutt Valley and over the Remutaka Ranges, with a sightseeing stop at the Summit (555m).

It was a lovely day in the Martinborough area. Simon, our driver was excellent. He was full of information about the history of the area and Māori culture. The wine was nice and out lunch at Moy Hall was delicious.

Hope to always get a driver like, Simon, who is knowledgeable, friendly, and educated thoroughly in the region we went to. And while I didn't buy any wine, he did stop by a delightful cheese shop where I got some delicious treats and chocolate.
