5.00We had a great time exploring Uji’s main attractions with Hinata. This tour allowed us enough time to visit the sites at a slow pace. Hinata was very helpful and attentive. The tea tasting ceremony was brilliant and just right to fit into this 4 hour itinerary. Would highly recommend this tour with Hinata.

5.00We had a wonderful half-day tour in Uji with our guide, Tom. He contacted us before the tour to learn about our interests and customized the itinerary for us, which we really appreciated. Tom met us in Uji and made everything very easy from the start. He spoke excellent English, was very friendly and flexible, and adjusted the tour to our pace and interests. He took us to a traditional tea ceremony and to the beautiful Byodo-in Shrine, sharing interesting history and insights along the way. He was also very helpful and kindly took many photos for us during the tour. We really enjoyed exploring Uji with him and would highly recommend this tour.
