  Daniel is very educated about the island. Really loved his insight at the Botanical garden and Rum factory. Wear sneakers as some of the areas are off the concrete. Would recommend.

  Our family booked this tour with hope of seeing a few key points of the Martinique island and Daniel didn't disappoint. He was very communicative throughout the process in the days leading up to the tour and provided great directions for meeting up. Upon meeting him at the start he was very friendly and engaging. On the tour he was very narrative and provided excellent historical perspective. All the stops features unique experiences but the waterfall and garden stood out. The falls had a beautiful backdrop for a hidden feature. At the garden, Daniel provided an immersive experience with touch, smell and tasting the natural wonders of the botanical garden.   Daniel is an enthusiastic and informative guide. He knows the schedule of other tours and fit our visit between theirs for a more private experience. He openly answered my questions about the history and culture. He provided and overview of the plant families and explained their many uses. He didn’t monologue like many guides but encouraged our making use of prior knowledge. Daniel was on time and was willing to pick me up at my hotel and drop me off at the ship. Great tour guide, great use of a day in Martinique. Thank you Daniel!

  Daniel was a great guide!! He was fun and took great care of us. Pushed us to do everything and he was right!! Places he took us were off the beaten path and not crowded!!

  It was a wonderful day!! With Daniel we had a super great tour guide!!! He was not intrusive yet also very accommodating!!! There were eight of us. First visited a church, then a waterfall. Daniel helped down the steps. Even had towels with him and motivated to bathe. Wonderfully refreshing!!! In the botanical garden Daniel explained the plants and spices lively and authentically. In the Rum factory you could taste and shop afterwards. After a very nice photo stop we went to the beach. (Whoever wanted to go to the ship was dumped at the ship, the rest was picked up again!   Great experience of course because of our excellent driver Jordan. Very well mannered, well posed, and patient. Did a wonderful job driving us around. The botanical garden was the main highlight for me. Daniel did a really good job educating us about the plants on the island. We did not feel rushed and we had time to take all the pictures we need. Per the tour description, the last stop was supposed to be a restaurant. I was under the impression that We would eat and they will take us to the hotel after that. To my surprise , I was told that I can stay and take a taxi afterward to go back to my hotel. This is very misleading. I still give them a 5 because of the impeccable Jordan.

• Fast-paced & rushed!

  I wish I could give this excursion 5 stars, but I just can’t. We were rushed at every stop and barely had time to take any pictures and enjoy the scenery. Daniel is a high energy person who walks crazy fast, which made it difficult to keep up with his fast pace. Although I appreciated his “smash & smell” of various plants, I would have much rather taken the time to look at other things and be able to take some pictures. The distillery was a beautiful place, but not enough time to explore and learn more about the history. I stood at the counter for 5-10 minutes waiting to sample the rum, but was never once offered a drink. I finally had to speak up after watching the worker skip over several of us waiting, to dote on a few of the same individuals. The drive back to the ship was at breakneck speed, even tho we had plenty of time to spare. This made it very uncomfortable for us all, since there was 3 people per seat in the van. Be prepared to get close to whomever you are sitting beside. You may not know whom that will be either, as you are asked to play musical chairs and switch seats and rotate at every stop. This is so everyone has to take turns to be the one in the back of the bus. (Which isn’t easy getting in and out of.)
