5.00Wow. Joel took us to places where we could enjoy gorgeous views of the Madeira coastline. He tailored the experience to our needs, as we were traveling with our elderly parents. We could not be happier with our trip. He packed so much useful information into our 4 hour tour and also took us to enjoy some local refreshments. I love that this company strives to deliver a great experience specific to each group that they meet. I will definitely book with Nourishing Experiences again. Thank you Joel and team!

5.00A wonderful day with Joel of Nourishing Experiences in Madeira. Joel & Team communicated effectively helping us to plan a great day on the Island well in advance of our tour date. Joel was on-time, made our tour fun, was expert in managing time throughout the day, was flexible, had a great sense of humor, provided multiple recommendations, truly passionate for his Island/home, and really went above and beyond today ensuring we were good throughout the tour. His English was perfect. Joel provided insights & history into Madeira throughout the tour. The car we took was great. Joel truly knew the Island getting us to our sites without an issue. Joel picked us up at our Cruise Terminal and dropped us off in town as requested. I would Highly recommend this tour and specifically Joel as a tour guide! I am sure we will see Madeira and Nourishing Experiences again! Thanks for an amazing day! Best Rick & Kim

5.00Joel was absolutely fantastic. Do a bit of off- roading if you’re an adrenaline junky and don’t mind a bit of rough and tumble. Joel was very informative, entertaining & enthusiastic! He gave us plenty of time and showed us all his favourite parts of the island in a short space of time. We will DEFINITELY be back and will do a few days touring with him!!

5.00My good man Joel did an amazing job. Very down to earth and extremely knowledgeable about the island and its history. Accommodated us within only one day’s notice (and we found out about him through another pleased traveler who we ran into in the quant Madeirian streets). Stopped when we needed to; never felt rushed nor leaned towards one thing. Definitely as private as it comes with a solid guide. Would definitely recommend and use him again. Best to you, my friend.

5.00Joel gave us a wonderful, personalized tour. We wanted to swim in the lava pools so he took us to Porto Moniz and many beautiful stops along the way. We appreciated Joel’s personal stories and recommendations for places to visit during the rest of our stay. The ride was very comfortable and we had plenty of time to see the highlights of the island. Thank you Joel!

He ensured we were comfortable and took us to many places we would have missed if we had tried it on our own. It was fun and the highlight of our week.

5.00We had the more incredible tour with Joel. Afterwards we were left speechless and said it was probably the best tour we had ever had in our 40 years of travel. The tour met all of our desires and was done in a comfortable, friendly manner. Joel was always making sure we were enjoying the tour and willing to make any changes or if we wanted to stay at different locations longer, it was totally up to us. Well done, Joel! Thank you for the memories!

5.00Joel picked us up at the cruise port and proposed the route to us. He was very flexible regarding our special wishes (visit the tropical botanical garden and the Funchal old town and food market) and took us around in his father's Jeep. We went from sea level with numerous stops up to the Pico de Arieiro (1800 m) with beautiful views and down again, using old narrow roads, showing us rural life in Madeira, to the airport where Joel showed us the runway bridge from below. Very interesting tour with a nice guy, highly recommended!

5.00This was our second tour with Joel (that’s how much we enjoyed our time with him!) he is a great guide, very friendly, and tailored the tour perfectly to our needs and requests. He showed us some unique places that we would have never found on our own, giving us a real taste of Madeira away from the crowds. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for some adventure in the most beautiful setting!
