5.00Joel took us on a great trip to see some fantastic sights. We asked for something a little different than the main tourist spots and he delivered with a beautiful scenic stop at a very secluded levada, as well as much more. We were also pretty hungry at the end of the tour and Joel arranged for lunch at a local bar for us, happy to go above and beyond!

5.00Went on a half day jeep tour adventure this morning with Joel, a very nice and enthusiastic guide. From the start he did everything he could to make it an unforgettable morning for us. We could specify exactly what we wanted to see and experience. Skip something anyway? No problem at all! So it became a fantastic mix of not too touristy places, beautiful nature, beautiful views, adventurous routes and the best Poncha of Madeira. Also had a lot of nice info about the island and the lives of the residents. And lots of visiting and eating tips. The morning has flown by! This was our first jeep tour and an experience not to be forgotten. Advice: don't hesitate and just book!

5.00Joel was absolutely outstanding. Friendly, easy to talk to, and he made the whole trip feel fun and relaxed from start to finish. Choosing this tour was 100% the right decision. I got to see some of the most beautiful views in Madeira, and he also took me to an incredible sunset spot. It honestly turned into one of the best days of my trip. Before the tour, I simply told him what kind of places I wanted to see. Even spots that aren’t very touristy, he planned everything perfectly. It’s clear he knows the island incredibly well and genuinely enjoys sharing it. I had such an amazing time. If I ever come back to Madeira, I would definitely book more days touring with him again.

5.00Wow. Joel took us to places where we could enjoy gorgeous views of the Madeira coastline. He tailored the experience to our needs, as we were traveling with our elderly parents. We could not be happier with our trip. He packed so much useful information into our 4 hour tour and also took us to enjoy some local refreshments. I love that this company strives to deliver a great experience specific to each group that they meet. I will definitely book with Nourishing Experiences again. Thank you Joel and team!

5.00A wonderful day with Joel of Nourishing Experiences in Madeira. Joel & Team communicated effectively helping us to plan a great day on the Island well in advance of our tour date. Joel was on-time, made our tour fun, was expert in managing time throughout the day, was flexible, had a great sense of humor, provided multiple recommendations, truly passionate for his Island/home, and really went above and beyond today ensuring we were good throughout the tour. His English was perfect. Joel provided insights & history into Madeira throughout the tour. The car we took was great. Joel truly knew the Island getting us to our sites without an issue. Joel picked us up at our Cruise Terminal and dropped us off in town as requested. I would Highly recommend this tour and specifically Joel as a tour guide! 5.00Joel was absolutely fantastic. Do a bit of off- roading if you’re an adrenaline junky and don’t mind a bit of rough and tumble. Joel was very informative, entertaining & enthusiastic! He gave us plenty of time and showed us all his favourite parts of the island in a short space of time. We will DEFINITELY be back and will do a few days touring with him!!

5.00My good man Joel did an amazing job. Very down to earth and extremely knowledgeable about the island and its history. Accommodated us within only one day’s notice (and we found out about him through another pleased traveler who we ran into in the quant Madeirian streets). Stopped when we needed to; never felt rushed nor leaned towards one thing. Definitely as private as it comes with a solid guide. Would definitely recommend and use him again. Best to you, my friend.

5.00Joel gave us a wonderful, personalized tour. We wanted to swim in the lava pools so he took us to Porto Moniz and many beautiful stops along the way. We appreciated Joel’s personal stories and recommendations for places to visit during the rest of our stay. The ride was very comfortable and we had plenty of time to see the highlights of the island. Thank you Joel!
