Join this small-group cycling tour to explore the countryside of Penang, Balik Pulau. The tour will start at 7am from your hotel where we will transfer you to Balik Pulau. Exploring the town by bicycle has all the advantages of going by foot, combined with a much greater action radius and cooling breeze. If you want to experience Balik Pulau hideaways and countryside, touched by the charm of Malaysian way of country life at personal level, bicycle is a great way to do it. This tour will bring you to see local life in the Penang countryside. Away from Balik Pulau town there is a labyrinth of minor roads, pathways and alleys. Cyclists are treated as pedestrians, so you can use bicycle to explore fruit orchard, plantation, mangrove, fishing village and dozens of traditional Kampung in Penang.

5.00We loved the experience from Start to finish. A very prompt pick up with great company. A real adventure off the beaten track with hidden surprises along the way We would highly recommend. We particularly enjoyed the creatures we saw and the visit to the animal farm. Try the goats ice cream!! A Nice touch also was the fishing village stop - drinking tea with the locals Eddie was fantastic, we would highly recommend this trip

4.00This is a little village and country tour on a bike. 1.5 hours including many stops, these are to see monkeys in palm tree fields, village for coffee/snacks, fishing village, and goat milk farm (yummy ice cream), all of which was really interesting and TC, our guide had lots of information to share which I love but it's not a cycle tour as such. I was expecting more exercise, more cycling for thus trip, also much longer as description stated 4 to 4.5 hours duration. I know transportation can be an hour each way so I was expecting 2.5 hours cycling. I did however really enjoy it and TC was so kind to drop be back to Batu Ferringhi, lovely guy. I just think description needs to be changed to reflect it better

5.00Had an absolutely awesome few hours on this bike ride and Eddy was full of great local information. The goat farm was a highlight with ostriches, emus, merkats, porcupines and even tried some fantastic goat milk ice cream. Definitely value for money and worth going on.

4.00Different experience in the backland of Penang Island. Great guide, knowledgeable and with plenty of humor. Talked good English. The bikes were nostalgic and could be from a museum.

5.00An amazing tour from beginning to end! Cycling around the Penang countryside was such a joy, with beautiful views of plantations, fisheries, and a farm. The staff were warm, friendly, and full of great insights. Would absolutely recommend this tour.
Enjoyable bike tour of the local area and an insight in to the way of life of the local people.

4.00Mix up with booking so went the next day but overall we had a great time, bikes were ok, guide TC was very knowledgeable and an interesting tour.

5.00Loved it. Beautiful scenery and great guide (Eddie). Also got to try some homemade goat milk ice cream which was delicious! No helmets but the ride was mainly flat and not tiring. Would recommend this to everyone to see more of Penang!

5.00TC was our cycling guide. He was funny, personable and full of information about his home country. Pace was very easy through beautiful countryside on mostly paved trails.
