Join this small-group cycling tour to explore the countryside of Penang, Balik Pulau. The tour will start at 7am from your hotel where we will transfer you to Balik Pulau. Exploring the town by bicycle has all the advantages of going by foot, combined with a much greater action radius and cooling breeze. If you want to experience Balik Pulau hideaways and countryside, touched by the charm of Malaysian way of country life at personal level, bicycle is a great way to do it. This tour will bring you to see local life in the Penang countryside. Away from Balik Pulau town there is a labyrinth of minor roads, pathways and alleys. Cyclists are treated as pedestrians, so you can use bicycle to explore fruit orchard, plantation, mangrove, fishing village and dozens of traditional Kampung in Penang.

Is a nice change when you are on Penang but do not expect a real bike ride. You stop extensively in four places so you spend less time on the bike / see less of the countryside than you normally can in a half day. Price / quality is also not quite ok given the condition of the bikes. They're obviously under-maintained. The guide's bike broke down 2 times in 1 part of the day. A mountain bike is better suited to the terrain than the material of this tour. Guide was fun, tour fun & informative
