Our Culture and Heritage Tour in the Ashanti region take you to the Bonwire Kente Weaving Center and the Ntonso Adinkra Craft Village for an epic and memorable experience of a lifetime. See skilled weavers at work, creating vibrant Kente cloth on traditional looms. Learn about the significance of different patterns and designs used in Kente cloth. Watch craftsmen create traditional Adinkra symbols using ancient techniques. Browse the variety of products available, such as cloth, pottery, and wood carvings. See the cocoa trees up close and learn about the process of growing cocoa in Cocoa tree plantation. Learn about the process of harvesting cocoa pods, extracting the beans, and how the beans are fermented, dried, and processed into chocolate.

Ntonso Adinkra Craftsmen
Bonwire kente weaving center is the birth place of kente cloth in Ghana. During this tour you will be given the history of the kentecloth. After that you will learn how to weave the popular kente cloth like a local. At Ntonso you will learn about the Adinkra cloth,Adinkra means farewell or goodbye. The cloth was used as a mourning cloth for the Asantes back in the days. The cloth was coming in red and black colour but now is coming in so many beautiful colours.
Home or birthplace of Kente cloth in Ghana. The tour will take you through the process of weaving the Kente cloth and the history of the Kente. After the tour you will get the chance to weave like a local.
