Slat Cat is a fully customized 30-foot motor catamaran built in Turks and Caicos for shallow waters and is equipped with comfort and versatility. She has a large shaded deck with plenty of space in the bow for sunbathing, with large nets and bean bags. She has a large awning for ample shade at the bank of the boat.
Our captains and crew are all passionate watermen who were born and raised in the Turks and Caicos, and they will be happy to show you what is best about our islands.
What makes our charters unique, is we have studied the Islands Closely for over 20 years, we discuss with the guests before leaving, getting to know personalities to match the people with the things to see and do.

Our Charters are fully customizable to our guest's needs, between cruising and relaxing on the boats to adventure seekers. A few ideas of things we can do, we can visit Half Moon Bay with our endemic iguana sanctuary, with an amazing lagoon on one side and a beautifully bayed beach on the other, Snorkel many spots on our barrier reef, visit historical cannons at Fort George, where you can also find Sand dollars, Stop at many of the pristine beaches of the Caicos Cays, Visit the Famous La Famille Express shipwreck, Visit Dellis Cay with an abandoned hotel or looking for the beautiful shells and more.

5.00Scooby and Brian were the best - this was the highlight of our trip. Gorgeous water - got to see beautiful beaches and a cool shipwreck. And iguanas! Highly recommend!!

Caicos Catalyst Should Have Canceled Due to Rough Ocean/Weather

2.00This is the second time we tried to book a customizable private charter from Caicos Catalyst. The first time was in October 2021. It started raining an hour before we were supposed to leave and they called and canceled, which we appreciated due to safety. This trip we had booked for Wednesday, April 24. The weather/water leading up to the trip was great, but on that Wednesday, the Atlantic got very rough due to a weather system. We had booked a private SNORKELING cruise. The staff did not attempt to cancel the trip due to rough water and the trip was unpleasant/choppy and bit scary in one area. Snorkeling was impossible and would have been dangerous in my opinion. The only things we got to see were Iguana Island and Dellis Cay, which was really nothing worth paying for—literally $1,200 right down the drain. Plus the captain mentioned he was sick and I was like, oh great... I'm probably gonna get sick on my vacation. The boat was gorgeous and I'm sure if the weather/ocean had been in good shape it might have been a good excursion. I'm not sure about the customizable part. I had envisioned visiting several great snorkel spots, not the same old Iguana island, shipwreck, etc. But I have to say: you can't control the weather/water, but you can make the choice not to take people out when you know you're not going to be able to provide the experience that was promised.

5.00Went out on the Metta sailboat for a 4 hour tour. We had the most fun. The captain and crew were very professional and attentive. Good music. Good vibes. Even when it rained, the crew made sure we were all comfortable and happy. Highly recommend.

5.00We had the most spectacular afternoon with Morgan and Mikey on the Caicos Catalyst. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, and catered to the needs of our group(a mixture of children and adults) brilliantly. We had a very smooth ride, and the boat was very comfortable with plenty of places to sit and chill. We visited the spectacular iguana island, did some fantastic snorkeling and looked for whales. A memorable day, I would highly recommend!!

5.00We had a fantastic afternoon with Morgan and Mikey and 9 members of my family ranging from a 2 year old to a 72 year old and we all absolutely loved it. The weather was stunning and we had a brilliant afternoon exploring iguana island, snorkelling on the reef and searching for whales! The crew were awesome and it was the perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon in TCI! I would 100% recommend them.
