After pick up from your accommodation in downtown of Panama City, we will take you to the Panama Canal Visitors Center at Miraflores Locks where we will see together the ships going through the Canal and discuss about the history of the Canal and how it works. This visit is complemented by watching a short movie.

Amador Causeway (Calzada de Amador)

After visiting the Panama Canal, we will go through Balboa and Canal Zone, former USA territory in Panama, in our way to the Amador Causeway, a road connecting to 3 islands at the entrance of the Panama Canal. This is a place with beautiful landscapes at the ocean, perfect for great pictures of the Panama City's skyline.

Reuben was the best guide! I am someone with a lot of questions and he had such deep knowledge. He showed me around Panama City, old town and the canal. It was an absolutely perfect day. I am so grateful to him and will have such wonderful memories!

This canal and city tour in Panama was excellent from start to finish. The company was extremely well organized and even allowed me to switch tour days after a flight disruption, which I truly appreciated. Pickup and drop-off were seamless and made the entire experience stress-free. Ruben was my tour guide and he was amazing. His knowledge of the Panama Canal was outstanding—seeing and learning about the canal was absolutely the highlight of the tour for me. Beyond that, he was incredibly well-versed in the city and the country as a whole. We had great conversations about all things Panama, which made the experience feel personal and engaging rather than scripted. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Panama. It’s a perfect way to learn about the canal and get a deeper understanding of the city and country in a smooth, well-run experience.

Jose is a great guide and very knowledgeable about Panamanian history. We learned a lot. Great way to see the canal, Casco Viejo, and the Amador causeway all in one tour.

Excellent city tour of Panama City. Our guide was Fernando who had the patience and never rushed us over time. Very concerned, friendly and knowledgeable about the history and the city. We arrived just in time to see the crossing of a boat through the miraflores excluses. Nice tour to know the essentials of Panama City in half a day. Excellent option and highly recommended

An excellent way to get acquainted with Panama City. This was our first trip to Panama and it was great to have a private driver to show us the sites, explain the history, and help us see everything. Demetrio was a terrific guide and was able to customize the tour to our needs.

Great experience, our guide took us to the Panama Canal and Miraflores locks, we took a ride and photos through 4 islands, drive and walk and guided tour through Casco Viejo.

I had a wonderful time with Cesar. I was able to view all of Panama City and also the Panama Canal. He was extremely patient with us and even allowed me to stop at a special souvenir store that was on the way. Cesar was so funny. He made me laugh and it was a really good time. I feel like I have a new friend in Panama. Great time!
