We spent a very nice afternoon walking on the streets of Oradea and tasting local food, coffee and wine. Calin is a very nice host and knows a lot of things and funny stories about his town.

Oradea is an absolutely beautiful city with so much history. I highly recommend this tour at the beginning of your visit, so that you have guidance and input on where to go, what to do, what exactly you are seeing, etc. Calin is an absolutely exceptional guide, and has a wealth of knowledge and information about the city of Oradea. The meet up location was very easy in the town area, and the history shared is impressive. The restaurant visited during the tour provides an extremely impressive amount of food samples, along with a nice array of wines to taste. The information on the wines is also very impressive. A visit to the fortress, along with the desert and probably best coffee I have ever had in my life (not an exaggeration!!) was a wonderful way to wrap up the tour. Calin has had a very extensive career in the food/wine and hospitality industry, and is again, very knowledgeable. His passion for the city in which he lives, as well as his passion to share his knowledge with the city visitors, is very evident. My only regret is that I did not do the tour earlier in my visit to the city. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

The beautiful city of Oradea has an enthusiastic ambassador in Calin Dobai. His narration was very informative and entertaining. The restaurant picks were awesome- there was so much variety and the quality of food was amazing :)

Calin was an excellent guide. He had a breezy friendly style and was really full of interesting information about the history of Oradea. He engaged my cousin & I on the tour and answered questions as we went along. You won’t be bored and it doesn’t feel like it’s been spouted out out ad verbatim. I was actually quite surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I really feel that we had the lowdown on Oradea and it’s food & wine. Thanks for a very interesting end to my trip.

We usually go on a "free" walking tour when we arrive in a new city. We were lucky that none was available on the days we were in Oradea because, as a result, we went on Calin's Food, Wine And Sightseeing Tour, which was fantastic value. Calin knows and loves Oradea and his enthusiasm for his city was infectious. We were given so much delicious food that we could not eat any dinner. We even enjoyed the tripe soup, which was the first time we had tasted tripe. Fantastic value!

We were a group of four with different dietary restrictions, and our guide was incredibly attentive, making sure each of us received tastings that matched our individual needs. It was clear that he genuinely cared about creating a great experience for everyone. The tour was rich with content—not only did we enjoy delicious food and wine, but we also learned a lot about Oradea’s fascinating history and architecture. The guide's knowledge and passion really added depth to the experience. We also received fantastic recommendations for the rest of our trip, which proved very useful.
