  We had the most incredible day on a private boat and snorkel tour in Moorea—truly one of the highlights of our trip. Our group included four adults and two preschool-aged kids, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect experience for all of us. The water was absolutely crystal clear, the kind of turquoise you almost don’t believe is real. We had the chance to swim with stingrays and sharks, which was both thrilling and surprisingly peaceful. Everywhere we looked, there were vibrant tropical fish, making every moment in the water feel like swimming through an aquarium. What really made the day special was our captain, Teoni. He was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive to our group’s needs. He adjusted the pace and locations based on our varying swimming abilities, making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe, especially the kids. It made all the difference knowing we were in such capable hands. It was a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, and a day we’ll be talking about for years to come. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Moorea, especially families looking for something truly memorable.

  BEST GUIDE AND TOUR EVER!!! Highly recommend! Teoni is an absolutely expert on Mo’orea. He took us all over the cove and made us feel safe while having a blast snorkeling. Will definitely be booking another excursion with him when we are back!

  Teoni picked us up in his boat at the pier right off the tender, great description provided by him of his boat made it easy to find. Off we went thru the stunningly beautiful waters. He provided great descriptions of all the landmarks and history. We saw stingrays, turtles, all types of colorful fish, and sharks….even swam with the stingrays and sharks. What fun! We enjoyed fresh Queen Pineapple…the sweetest we ever had and their fruit similar to our grapefruit. The boys also enjoyed a few local beers as we cruised back to port. Highly recommend this tour

  Teoni was the most generous host who shared with us his backyard lagoon and Island. He is an incredible waterman, super knowledgable of everything Tahitian and planned out the best day while we were on Mo'orea. From special snorkeling spots, to the famous shark & stingray encounter to the BEST spot ever to lunch at Coco Beach. Teoni made us feel completely at home with his warm hospitality and we will remember our family day on the water with him for a lifetime. Without hesitation we will be back and book again another charter with him. Much Aloha !!

  Awesome half day trip with Teoni for our family of two adults and two teenagers. Was great to have the trip to ourselves and decide what to do, we had plenty of time in the water snorkelling and saw eagle rays and turtles which was a definite highlight. Teoni was fantastic and had lots of interesting information about Moorea and its wildlife, as well as steering us away from the crowds and to the best spots. Would highly recommend this trip as was only slightly more than paying for 4 adults on a shared boat, well worth it.

  My husband and I and another couple were on a 32 day cruise. Our day in Mo’orea was the best day of the entire trip. Teoni was informative, friendly and did everything he could to assure we had a wonderful time. We saw spinner dolphins, Pacific Green Sea Turtles, and swam with stingray and small sharks. We were truly in paradise.

  Our full day private tour with Teoni is hard to put into words. We swam/ snorkeled with rays, sharks, turtles, eels, and tons of fish. We had a quick surf session at Haapiti, an amazing lunch at Coco beach and marveled at the jaw dropping beauty of the lagoon. Teoni was extremely knowledgeable and full of Aloha. Living on Maui this trip exceeded our expectations. We will be back to swim with the whales with Teoni. Amazing day, amazing Captain. Not to be missed!

  If you're visiting Moorea, this private lagoon boat tour with Teoni is an absolute must! We were two families of four, with kids ranging from ages 3 to 10, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Teoni was a phenomenal guide — warm, knowledgeable, and wonderful with the kids. He took us to stunning, secluded parts of the island that no other tours visited, giving us a peaceful, intimate experience of Moorea’s natural beauty. One of the most magical moments was seeing spinner dolphins leap and twirl out of the water — our kids were jumping up and down with excitement every time one jumped out of the water! We swam alongside stingrays and reef sharks, and even got to get up close to gently touch the stingrays — a truly unforgettable and hands-on experience. We also fed vibrant tropical fish and learned so much about the island’s marine life and culture. Teoni tailored everything perfectly to our group, keeping the little ones engaged while also making it fun and informative for the adults. To top it all off, we enjoyed fresh refreshments for both kids and adults, along with some of the most delicious tropical fruits we had on the island. Teoni’s hospitality and attention to detail made this a truly personal and unforgettable experience. Highly recommended — safe, educational, and absolutely unforgettable!

• Highlight of our Cruise in French Polynesia

  We had ongoing email communication with Teoni prior to our cruise to plan a private, all day snorkel with lunch at Coco Beach. Teoni was always excellent at responding to any questions that we had about the booking. Upon arrival at the dock, we were greeted by Teoni and his Captain. According to every member of our group (total of 8) its was, by far, the best activity of the 10 day cruise. Teoni is very knowledgeable about the island of Moorea and the aquatic environment. His willingness to accommodate our requests was very appreciated. He went out of his way to please us. Lunch at Coco Beach Restaurant was included in the price of the excursion. What an amazing experience there. The food was incredible, and the service was top notch. The snorkeling was unreal. Turtles, rays, black tip sharks and an abundance of colorful tropical fish in crystal clear water. We would absolutely, 100%, recommend booking an excursion with Teoni and Aimeho Private Escapes. If we return to Moorea, he would definitely be on our list of activities there. Teoni's "mana" (spirit) is evident in every aspect of the trip.
