During this Panda+Vegetarian Lunch Half-day Tour, you’ll be taken into Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base to see a great number of lovely pandas ranging from infants to adults with your English-speaking local guide. After finishing panda base, you’ll then ramble through “off-the-beaten” streets to visit a nunnery and have vegetarian lunch with a special Buddhist ceremony there. Finally, you’ll go to an authentic local tea house and enjoy local tea.

5.00Jerry picked me up directly from my hotel and guided me through the panda reserve. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience both informative and fun. After visiting the panda reserve, he took me to a Buddhist nunnery, where he introduced me to the local culture and we enjoyed a vegetarian lunch together. I had an amazing time and can highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

5.00Enjoyable trip to see the Giant panda with a personal tour guide. Fast track to see the giant pandas without to many crowds. We did go to the morning session.

5.00We had a wonderful time visiting the pandas. Jerry is a very knowledgeable guide who speaks English well. He navigated the Panda habitat perfectly to save us time and maximize the panda viewing. We highly recommend this experience

5.00The driver and Guide were on time, really good tour! The Guide, Lance, was helpful because the breeding center is very big and he knew where to start to be able to see the pandas and not be so crowded. The nunnery is a very beautiful place.

5.00I had a wonderful experience with Lance today visiting the famous pandas. The pandas were absolutely adorable, and the tour was perfectly timed to avoid the large crowds. Lance picked me up from the hotel on time in a very nice car with an excellent driver. We had a great conversation about China and Chinese culture. Lunch at the nunnery was also a lovely experience — it’s a beautiful and peaceful place tucked away in the middle of a busy town.

5.00had a great experience today with Jerry, who took me to see the pandas in Chengdu. He was super friendly, arrived right on time, and shared a lot of interesting information about both the city and the pandas. Jerry also took the time to point out some excellent local restaurants near my hotel, which I really appreciated. It was a fun, relaxed tour, and I’d be more than happy to work with him again. Highly recommended!

5.00We did this tour today with Dong Cheng and had the best time. We were collected from our hotel at 7.30am. Initially we thought it was very early until we realised that it was the best time to get to the pandas. We beat the queues, saw the pandas having breakfast and beautiful baby pandas. We walked around as it’s beautiful, don’t queue for the shuttle! We were leaving as the tours were arriving! Pandas sleep after eating so we saw them awake and playful. Lunch in the nunnery was simple, authentic and delicious. After lunch we wandered around local areas and temples with Dong Cheng who is friendly, knowledgeable and easy going. We went to a local park for some tea and chatted, we all really enjoyed our time. If you want something local, informative and friendly look no further than this company.
