  Our guide, Alex Meng, was the best. Very knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful. Even though it rained in the afternoon, Alex was more than happy to accommodate our wishes and even took us to the Keelung Painted houses on the way to Jiufen. At our Juifen restaurant, he reserved a table for us with a great view. On the Old Road, he shared his insights and the work of the craftsmen. While the weather didn’t cooperate part of the time, Alex was great an we would highly recommend touring with him again. Thank you so much, Alex!!

  My family and I enjoyed the tour with Paul Yang very much. He was very kind and made sure that we are comfortable throughout the trip. He was also fun to talk to and we learned a lot of historical info and trivia about Taiwan and the places we’ve visited. He also helped us take photos and did not rush us at all.   We went on the half day tour with our guide Nicholas Ying and had the best time. Nicholas is highly experienced and knowledgeable and a great photographer as well. He showed us cool spots, gave us a culture download with so much history. We felt totally immersed in the Taiwanese culture. Highly recommend this with Nicholas.

  We had an awesome time touring with Sean. In addition to a well structured tour, he was a weatlh for information. We had a blast! He is a talented and well informed guide. Recommended.

  This was the best tour. Mr. Wang was so kind and knew alot of about the sites. He even took me to try several treats and knew the best places to eat and get snacks. His photo skills were top tier. • Jiufen and Shifen Day Tour by Mr. Caleb

  Mr. Caleb was our tourguide/driver for the day. Got to ride a Toyota Granvia with Captain’s chair! Very comfy and best for post-tour naps. Since this is a private tour, we can pick with destination to go to/ skip. Shifen Old Street - Sky Lantern and souvenir buying (2 pcs of lantern were included in this tour); Lucky that we reach this area early= not crowded yet. Love the embroidered cat key chains! Jiufen old Street - Lunch break and souvenir shopping Mr. Caleb also directed us to the less travelled pathways and ordered for our lunch (braised pork) Also, bought pineapple cakes, mango jellies and nougat! Mr. Caleb was kind enough to pick then up and put them in the van so we wont have to carry it with us. Also suggested the photo stops and took the photos while giving a brief history of the place. Esp the secret spot on Jiufen area. At the end of the day, he dropped us at our pickup point, fresh from our nap inside our comfy van.

  

  

  

  

  

  

• Half day in the country.

  This is a great way to spend some time away from Taipei! Beautiful landscape, the Geopark was very interesting, fun times releasing the lanterns and the quaint little gold mining town Jiufen was soggy but very lovely. Our driver, Alex, was an excellent guide and host.

  This was one of the best tours we have taken due to great guide/driver and itinerary. Paul is knowledgeable, connects quickly with his guest, personable, attentive to our needs, timely, and courteous. We really loved each location. We did not like the restaurant for our lunch. Highly suggest changing locations.
