5.00Best tour we booked in our short visit to Jamaica, in a personalised experience with our tour guide Lamar, who was very dedicated and made sure we had our best time. First off on a nice quiet trip from our place in Montego Bay down to Martha Brae, for a very tranquil and romantic rafting down the river. Afterwards we had to make time until dusk, so Lamar took us on an extra tour around Falmouth visiting its many, many churches... we then had some more alone time, watching the sunset over the Luminous Lagoon and having some drinks while we waited for the bioluminiscence to start showing. We got on board our boat at night and sailed a few minutes until we were right on top of a site where the phenomena was best seen; it was truly magical to look at and moreso to swim in the midst of it. Unforgettable.

5.00Lamar was a rock star from our last minute booking, great communication and all around wonderful experience! He truly loves his country and it’s a joy to learn from him all about it! He doesn’t just drive you, but is an all around guide who gives you great insights to the local communities, history and more! Not only that, but he’s so well connected that it’s like getting shown around by a long time family friend who ensures you have an awesome time! The Martha Brae experience is not to be missed! Beautiful river and one of a kind experience being guided down the river on your own bamboo raft. The Luminous Lagoon… wow… we just kept saying, how can this be real life?!? We loved every bit of it, our captain was funny, personable and the whole crew kept us safe and informed. We loved every minute of it! Don’t miss out on either of these stops, and take them with Lamar! You won’t be disappointed in the least! He’s newer to these platforms but has been in tourism and customer service for years with great connections all around! We travel a ton and this is one experience that goes toward the top of them all!
