5.00We did a half-day sailing and snorkeling trip in Tahiti as a family of four (kids 10 and 8), and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Both kids are strong swimmers and pretty low-maintenance, which made it easy to relax and enjoy everything. First tip—trust the pickup instructions. When you arrive, it honestly feels like you’ve taken a wrong turn, but keep walking toward the bay. You’ll spot a red-sailed catamaran anchored right in front of you. That’s your ride. Timu, the owner and operator, comes in on a small zodiac to pick you up directly from the beach and takes you out to the boat, which already sets the tone for a unique experience. The boat is laid-back and comfortable—nothing overly fancy, but everything you need for a fun, easygoing half-day on the water. Timu takes you to beautiful snorkeling spots and along routes with breathtaking views of both Tahiti and Moorea. The currents can be strong at times, but he’s extremely attentive and makes safety a priority. At one point, my son drifted a bit too far, and Timu quickly came to pick him up in the zodiac—completely under control and reassuring. My daughter and I aren’t huge snorkelers, so we spent a good part of the morning stretched out on the netting, soaking up the sun and laughing—it was just as enjoyable as being in the water. Midway through, Timu sets up a fantastic spread of fresh fruit, juice, and even a rum tasting, which is the perfect way to recharge before heading to another swim spot. Overall, it was an amazing experience—relaxed, fun, and incredibly well run. The combination of great scenery, thoughtful touches, and personal attention made it truly memorable. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a quality, well-paced half-day adventure on the water.

5.00Superb water ride and easy snorkeling spot. Fins, masks, snorkels are provided and fries were ideal for observing life underwater and the sun. Small tour of the pass and surfers, fishermen and in the heart of the local life of the Punaauia lagoon, it was beautiful to enjoy Tahiti from the turquoise body of water:) The captain of the boat Aorai, Thibaut is a passionate and warmly welcoming sailor. 5.00We had an incredible day-long romantic swimming and snorkeling adventure with Thibault. We sailed through clear water to the best snorkeling spots with a picture-perfect view of Mo'orea. Thibault provided us delicious fruits with a side of philosophy, and our adventure would not have been the same without him.

5.00We had a great time on this tour around the lagoon. We stopped in three different spots to go snorkeling. After our last stop our tour guide, Thibault, had fresh fruit and drinks for us. It was a great way to spend the afternoon!

5.00A wonderful afternoon sailing in the lagoon of Tahiti plus a few stops to snorkel beautiful reefs. We swam with the Manta rays and tropical fish. Our Captain, Thiibaut, was so friendly and informative. Our 4 hour tour was well worth it!

5.00We came to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday. Among many fabulous experiences, this sailing excursion was THE BEST. Thibaut was engaging and very helpful to us. Swimming and snorkeling was delightful! The fruit he shared was so fresh and delicious. We highly recommend this trip!

5.00We had a wonderful time with Captain Thibaut. He was very knowledgeable and willing to share all about the ocean and the island. This experience was very personal and authentic and we enjoyed fresh pineapple and drinks. The snorkel portion of the excursion was also lots of fun. If we ever return to this area, we would definitely take this excursion again.

5.00We had a most relaxing and enjoyable trip with Thibault. He did his best to find enough wind to be able to sail without the motor, and we were indeed able to do so for a short time. There was time for swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the lagoon, and snorkelling, if we had wanted to. We enjoyed the fresh, ripe fruit and the delicious rum punch which he supplied. Thibault is a very personable and gentle man, and we enjoyed his company as well as his sailing expertise. We would definitely recommend this trip.
Look for Tibo, not the ship

5.00Great experience after finding Tibo. The ship is not docked and you need to meet with him on shore to be taken out to the ship in a dingy. There wasn't enough wing to use the sails unfortunately. Beautiful blue, clear water. Delicious snacks provided and good conversation.
