am Marianne and both my guides and I are Professional Photographers, my family and I, have lived and worked this land, since the early 1700's . My self and my guides would love to share this beautiful landscape that we call "Heaven On Earth" with you. Listen to ancient folklore stories about this area. Spectacular breath taking scenery. Jaw dropping fjords, will almost make you speechless. You can look forever; but we will take you directly to where the real action is. In winter we have days when the sun does not rise above the horizon from 28th of November to the 15th of January known as a blue day White tailed sea and golden eagles all join in on the free bonanza of fish that are attracted by the warm water's of the gulf stream. Reindeer can be seen scraping the snow covered tundra, as they move around in search of food. Seals, Otters, stoat's and foxes can show up at any time any where. Just remember that it’s wild animals and we can’t guarantee it.

Operator never responded to text messages regarding adverse weather conditions with snow falling & icy conditions. Operator refused to refund cost of trip. Viator didn’t support customer but bowed to operator. Last trip with Viator

It was supposed to rain all day, and to no shock, it did. Our guide was a tad late, but communicated and let us know her ETA. Upon arrive, Marianne came out, greeted us and got us to the car and off we went. Marianne is very passionate about this location as she grew up in the area and is well versed in all there is to know and see here. Marianne is also very passionate about photography and offered several tips/tricks on the iPhone (due to rain, camera of choice) of which I will remember and have already used since that tour! Nature being nature, the wildlife was hunkered down out of the rain so no views for us, but that is what nature does, so all the effort she applied to get us to see some reindeer was appreciated. The landscaping did not disappoint and the photo's we got and history made the trip money well spent. I cannot recommend this company enough and make sure you ask for Marianne!

I had the pleasure of joining Marianne for the Wildlife & Scenic Tour, and it was truly a 5-star experience. I was lucky to be the only guest that day, which gave us the flexibility to arrange the start time and pickup in a very convenient way. Marianne is a wonderful guide – warm-hearted, attentive, and with excellent local knowledge. She knows the best scenic spots and shared great tips for handling the camera, so I could capture beautiful photos to share with friends and family back home. We were blessed with perfect weather, picked berries, enjoyed a small picnic lunch outdoors, and I even got to see reindeers along the way! One of the highlights was a stop at a local supermarket that smokes its own salmon – such a tasty experience. At the end of the tour, Marianne kindly dropped me directly at the bus for my onward journey through Norway. This day was unforgettable, thanks to Marianne’s expertise, flexibility, and warm personality. I can recommend this tour 100% to anyone visiting Tromsø – it’s an experience not to be missed!

I went alone to the tour and it was wonderful, the views, nature and mainly the guide, very friendly and friendly, was in no hurry and knew what he was talking about when he explained.

Took the Half Day Scenic Wildlife and Photographic Fjord Tour with Marianne. Really enjoyed the tour despite the poor weather on the day. Marianne took a lot of time to tell us about the area and her knowledge of living there. Highlights were seeing reindeer, mountain road with huge snowdrifts, beaches, cafe with beautiful views in Tromvik and the mountains. Plenty of time to stop and take photos. Highly recommended

We spent a few days around Norway, with the first four days in Tromsø. This was the first activity of our very first day and it was beyond amazing. Stig gave us a wonderful introduction to the area with lovely landscapes and tons of interesting information. His wealth of knowledge about, really everything, coupled with his sense of humor and great storytelling truly made this tour memorable. We did other tours during our trip and they were all great because Norway is great, but none had the personal vibe of this one. The small size of the tour, and again, Stig, made it feel like a friend was showing you around, as opposed to a guide. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour and this business.

Marianne is a skilled photographer who showed us how to elevate our photos (whether using a DSLR or phone). She knew some of the most scenic spots. She is a 3rd generation resident of this community, so her insights were on target. (We took another daytime tour, but not with a native. It was far inferior.) The reduction from 5 stars to 4 stars is because she was too interested in taking her own photos rather than focusing exclusively on the clients--my wife, myself, and another woman. Her daughter called during the tour so she walked away to take the call. Her small Subaru was functional but not luxurious. She was on time for pick-up, but the location was not clear on the website--all 3 of us were walking in circles. She could have solved it by saying in front of X store.

Very disappointing. We met Marianne who was very good advice. But the performance did not live up to expectations. Marianne didn't come with us. Our driver Abdi had to follow a car with a guide. Abdi made a lot of effort to make us enjoy the ride but it was the guide who had the information we did not have during the ride. This guide did not show up, sometimes did not even wait for our van. He had other dependants. He ended up answering a few questions at the scene. We made three stops on the side of the road to see fjords. We ate next to the toilet on an old school parking lot near the garbage cans without views of the fjord. The snack that was included was equally disappointing: half a slice of bread with a slice of cheese, a packet of dry biscuits in tupperware and a bag of candy. Drinks: coffee or hot chocolate. We would have liked to discover less frequented places, take the time to observe wildlife, hear the history of Norway, walk in the fjord, ... This service is not worth the €158 per person we paid despite all the kindness of our driver.
