This experience offers the only direct tour from Bath to Stonehenge. The ride to Stonehenge takes just under one hour each way. We use luxury mini-coaches with large panoramic windows, air-conditioning and comfortable seats to ensure your journey is relaxing and enjoyable. Along the way, the driver/guide will point out all the sights from panoramic views of the Salisbury Plains to Celtic Hill Forts and Thatched Villages. On a clear day, you may even spot the famous Westbury White Horse – one of the Chalk Hill Carvings of Ancient Wessex.

Stonehenge
You will be at Stonehenge for a minimum of 2 hours. This is plenty of time to see Stonehenge properly and to enjoy the souvenir shop, café and exhibition hall at the Visitor Centre. The driver/guide will sort your tickets upon arrival and explain the layout of the site. Time at Stonehenge is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Audio guides are available in 10 different languages for use around the stones, these are free of charge but subject to availability.
Bratton White Horse
On a clear day we'll be able to see the Westbury White Horse, a chalk hill carving from the 1770s. Our route takes in panoramic views of the Salisbury Plain and the Avon Valley, and passes Cley Hill the iron age hill fort and burial mound.

5.00This is my second visit to Stonehenge, my niece's first. We were staying in Bath and wanted to see Stonehenge without renting a vehicle and the Scarper Tours was a perfect solution. Our drive Dan pointed out some places of interest along the way, gave us helpful logistical advice for visiting Stonehenge, and allowed us plenty of time to explore. Would recommend this trip to others in Bath who want to visit Stonehenge.

5.00Excellent and knowledgeable host, spotless transport, friendly and helpful service. The driver/owner of the business made everything smooth and hassle free for all the travellers on the minibus, giving suggestions on the order to view the Stonehenge attractions and how long might be optimum to spend at each section.

5.00Fantastic trip to Stonehenge and back to Bath. Shuttle was prompt, clean, and we took a beautiful route. Got to see and learn about the Cotswalds and Salbury landscape on the way. Sally was knowledgeable and jovial. Once there, she got my ticket and explained what to do. I had plenty of time for the Stones, and the shop, plus the cafe, and still got back a bit early. Five stars! Highly recommend.

5.00Wonderful trip from Bath to Stonehenge. Quick and easy, with great scenery along the way. Sally, the tour guide, is terrific; knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt. If you are in the area, I strongly suggest this outing.
