Our excursion offers an authentic Bora Bora lagoon safari designed for guests who value quality, ethics and small groups. We operate with very limited numbers on board, visit multiple sites chosen daily based on conditions, and observe marine life in its natural environment without feeding or staging encounters. Led by experienced local guides, our tours regularly encounter manta rays, eagle rays, turtles, dolphins, and vibrant coral gardens, while respecting French Polynesia's wildlife protection laws. Every trip is different, personal and driven by nature - making it a genuine, responsible and unforgettable snorkeling experience.

This 3.5 hour tour by boat will take you to 3 or 4 separate snorkeling spots around the most beautiful lagoon in the world. The itinerary of the tour is never fixed and depends on the conditions of the day. We include a manta ray stop, a stop at the inner reef to see a natural coral garden abundant with life, an eagle ray stop and, if we have time, a fourth stop decided on the day taking into account conditions and things you may already have seen during your time here. The animals are seen in their natural environment and we do not partake in feeding or visit any sites where animals are artificially attracted by feeding (most notably the site where you can be in very shallow water with blacktip reef sharks and stingrays). Shark and ray feeding has been illegal in French Polynesia since October 2017, and we strictly respect both the law and ethical wildlife practices. The beauty of Bora Bora provides the perfect backdrop to the tour and you can soak this in as we cruise from spot to spot. We remain committed to small groups, responsible tourism, and respectful wildlife encounters, and we thank our many guests who choose us specifically for these values.

5.00Vincent, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and shared valuable information about the area. He brought us to points around the island that provided great viewing of the underwater wildlife. The Coral gardens were fantastic…..have never seen so many fish is one place! Would highly recommend a tour with H2O Bora Bora. We had great communication with them and enjoyed the smallBor group tour….there were only 6 of us..

5.00Wilson, our guide, picked us up at the hotel. Unfortunately we did not find any mantas, although we drove the 3 usual places. That can happen, they were there in the morning, not in the afternoon. Nevertheless, the snorkel tour was an experience with great exotic fish. The boat exclusive and easy to get in and out. We drove all over the island. Nice experience. Wilson explained much in French and English. Perfect.

5.00Outstanding snorkeling experience. Company was H2O. Boat driver / tour guide was Mat. Online CSR was Aimee. Superb communication with Aimee prior to meeting Mat at boat dock. Very nice speed boat and only 6 passengers. We saw a magnificent manta ray at stop #1; stunningly beautiful coral garden and tropical fish at stop #2; a group of 6 eagle rays at stop #3. Touring around the island and lagoon was beautiful. One of the nicest tours I've done in my 10 months so far of cruising perpetually around the world.

5.00My husband and I and two of our friends booked this trip as an excursion while staying in Bora Bora with a cruise. We saw lots of fish and the coral garden was amazing. One of the highlights was the boat trip around the island to go to the different snorkeling spots. Loved that there were only 6 people on the boat and our guide was fantastic.
