Snowshoeing is one of the best ways to move in deep snow. Dating back at least 3500 years, this ancient form of winter hiking is ideal for exploring the Lappish nature offering great opportunities for photography.

The tour is guided by a professional photography guide who will also teach you some tricks and techniques for your own landscape and nature photography. We will take breaks during the tour and one longer break will include building a fire and enjoying some light snacks and warm drinks.

Tour starts at our meeting point in Levi where everyone will get their equipment ready for the day. We provide you with high quality snowshoes, especially made for deep-snow hiking. After a drive to the wilderness location, we will enter the deep snow in the pristine Arctic nature. If we are lucky, we may encounter some wildlife during our tour.

From the meeting point we will make our way to our selected nature location outside of Levi centre. There we will experience some beautiful nature and Arctic forest. We equip ourself with snowshoes and take a hike through the nature and explore the area. We also make a fire and enjoy some snacks on the way!

The four of us went for a snowshoe hike with our guide Teemu to the top of a hill. It was a beautiful trip with beautiful views and the sun on the horizon. Teemu was very kind and has taken many pictures of and for us. In the end it was just a little too hard for me. But I do look back on it with pleasure. Thank you Teemu!

We had a fantastic day with this Safari! We really enjoyed a wonderful walk through a national park. Meri was our guide. She told us a lot about nature, took incredibly beautiful photos and was also very pleasant!

It was an amazing experience ! We had the best time discovering the Lapland landscapes with snowshoes. The small groups and the photographs are a great addition too :) Meri was the best guide we could have asked for ! It was a lot of fun !! We recommend a lot !!!

Was great! We did the snowshoe hike together with another couple! Our guide Meri had her camera with her and so she took beautiful pictures of us and the surroundings. We received it the same day! Our guide was very enthusiastic so it was a very nice experience! After the snowshoe walk we roasted sausages at a campfire! She also takes vegetarians into account, which is very nice. Definitely recommended, and what a beautiful view!

Today we did a snowshoe walk with Remi. Super fun tour with very cool photo shoot!! Nice challenging walk uphill with explanation about nature and concluded with a relaxing BBQ and delicious drink! Great experience, will book here more often!
