• Hike the Valley Gorge with Mohammad!!

  What a great day with Mohammad! We hiked a leisurely nine mile pace through the valley of the gorge. We went through beautiful agricultural fields, met local farmers (many of whom knew Mohammad and clearly loved him), took a relaxing tea break near a crystal clear pond, visited an ancient Mosque and Casbah, learning the history of generations of cultural progression. All along the hike through the agricultural land, we were accompanied by a lovely stream flowing strategically into the farming land. Butterflies danced alongside us, we learned about flowers, vegetables (the fresh peas out of the garden were yummy!), and how date palm trees are pollinated. At one point, Mohammad had us stop, turn and take in the snow capped Atlas Mountains in the distance--simply breathtaking! I recommend this tour with Mohammad and I want to thank him for a truly memorable Morocco day!!

  We enjoyed a lovely hike from the gorge down to the town of Tinghir. It was about 9 miles and covered lush pathways through the agricultural areas. Mohammed had a great English vocabulary on all of the plants and fruit and flowers and certainly the customs. It all took about 6 hours and was fun and easy and well worth it.

  My friend and I (2 females) had an amazing private hike with Mohamed starting and finishing in Todra Gorge while our husbands were climbing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. From the very beginning, Mohamed made us feel completely confident and at ease - his knowledge of the area, the local people, and the trails was outstanding. Along the way, he shared so many interesting facts about the landscape, history, and culture, which really enriched the experience. We were treated to incredible panoramic views and even enjoyed tea in a nomad village, which was a real highlight and something we’ll never forget. This was far more than just a hike - it was a cultural experience led by someone who clearly loves and understands the region. We highly recommend Mohamed to anyone visiting Todra Gorge and looking for an authentic, memorable experience.

  I don't think words can fully describe what a hike through the Todra Gorges is like but wow, I cannot recommend it enough. Our tour guide Mohammed was incredible and taught us so much about the area. Stopping for a cup of tea and snack near the top with a nomadic family was truly a delight.   Mohammed led a great hike up to the top of one of the Atlas Mountains and back down into the valley. We were extremely lucky with the weather and had ~50km visibility at the top, all the way to the Anti Atlas Mountains. He was very knowledgeable of the region, terrain, and flora, and even brought some fruit and fish—a lovely host. His friendships with the nomadic families on the mountains made for a unique experience. I would highly recommend this (do the mountain hike, not the valley walk). Mohammed was easy to contact and coordinate with, allowing a more personalized experience.

  We spent half a day with Moha who gave us a guided tour of the palm grove. We were with our 2 young children and Moha knew how to adapt the ride according to this and we thank him for it. I recommend this visit to all those who are visiting the area!

  Hiking the Todra Valley with the guide was great. We had small children and he was able to adapt and adapt the path to take. He was very patient and even helped carry our daughter when she was tired. I highly recommend the guide and this route to discover beautiful landscapes!

  With the guide Mohammed Moujane we arrived at the Todra Gorges after crossing the valley.... palm groves and lots of greenery .. then suddenly the canyion ... incredible lights and colors you walk through these big red walls and you are breathless.
