Not yet, we will stand in front of the Musmak Palace to witness the greatest war happened at that time which was the foundation of the Kingdom of Saudi Araia. Moreover, the national museum will tell us about many stories occurred thousands years ago until the current time. Finally, we will enjoy a very delicious Saudi traditional meal.

National Museum
The National museum has different departments. Each of them transfers us to a diverse era. We will travel through time to more than thousands years in the past to talk about the stone age and how did those people survived during that time. On the other hand, we will use the time capsule to travel 300 years back to meet the founder of Saudi Arabia. We will visit some places that have emotional breath-taking stories related to king Abdulaziz and how did he unify the Kingdome of Saudi Arabia. Finally, we will discover the history of the unification of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Saudi estate from 1727 up to now.
Al Masmak Fortress
Almasmak Fort. Actually, it is one of the important places that you need to visit during your stay in Riyadh. It was the headquarter of the army. This fort is one of the most important castles in Riyadh. In front of its gate, a battle was happened in 1902 where it was the beginning of a new era of the kingdom. We will go back through time to witness the regain of the fort by the founder King Abdulaziz. Then, you will enjoy passing through the old antique auction market.

5.00I had such a great time on this tour. Habiba was my tour guide and she was incredibly knowledgeable and relaxed. Her son was our driver who was so fun to hear stories from, a great duo overall. I felt safe as a solo female traveler, taken care of, and that they wanted me to see the best of Riyadh in the short amount of time we had together on this tour. It was great to see a mix of history through Diriyah and the Palace and then some facts with the museum. Overall would highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to explore Riyadh as a solo traveler.

5.00Dr Thamer is really an awesome tour guide! He speaks good English and so warm and welcoming! Really enjoyed time with him, he took us to a local restaurant which is great too. He also was flexible enough to drop us off at airport, which is appreciated!

5.00Thamer did an excellent job. The tour visited almost every major tourist site in Riyadh, and Thamer’s knowledge was exceptional. This tour visits the historical heart of old Riyadh as well as some of the more modern areas too. I would highly recommend this tour for a short stay in Riyadh.

5.00Our extremely kind and knowledgeable guide Dr Thamer took us on an amazing tour of some of the main attractions in Riyadh. We started at the old city of Diriyah, which gave us a facinating incite to the birth of the Saudi Kingdom. This was followed up by a visit to the National Museum for greater historical perpective. Next stop was the old Souk for a bit of shopping, and then we were treated to some Saudi coffee, dates and sweet Saudi pancakes. We ended the tour with a visit to Kingdom Tower and the spectacular view of the city from the Skybridge on the 99th floor. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Riyadh looking for an interesting and thoroughly enjoyable day out.

5.00The flexibility, learning about local food. The guide is also extremely educated and lived abroad in two different countries. He used his experience to compare with the direction of development for Saudi Arabia and was very honest about the changes and life. It was great for to hear from him that Saudi Arabia is opening up and that female travelers don’t need to worry about what they wear.
