Our experience with Mido & Amon Ra Tours was fantastic. He responds very quickly and is very flexible. You want to tweak your schedule on the fly? Need a drop off at the airport? Want to even plan a week long adventure or a Nile cruise private guide? Talk to Mido, he is able to offer just about everything at a reasonable price. We did a fairly fast paced full day tour of the Saqqara Necropolis, the pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and even got to visit the GEM. Something most tour groups quoted would be impossible and take 8-9 hours just to see everything excluding the GEM. We got to see all the highlights, starting with a pick up at 8am, and was at the GEM by 2pm. This and we got to see a few local shops along the way to experience a little more of Egypt. Mido tells you how it is, and likes being efficient. If there is something that isn't worth seeing he will tell you about it and why and still give you the option to see it if you'd like but is primarily focused on giving everyone the best experience possible. Mido will find ways to avoid crowded areas so that you can have good explanations of everything and a chance to ask any questions you may have. His English is fantastic and we never had any problems understanding him, which I can't say is the case for all tour guides in Egypt

I was only in Cairo for one full day, and while I don't usually take tours, I wanted to make the most of my layover in Cairo. I'm so fortunate that I found Mido and Amon Ra Tours. We had a great day seeing the pyramids, sphinx, markets and eating great food, and it was relaxed, fun and educational too. I highly recommend Amon Ra - an awesome way to explore one of the world's greatest cities.

Starting the day seeing the pyramids, getting inside of the pyramid. Then go for a camel ride, it was a unique experience!!

The camels had so much personality and were hilarious. Very much so enjoyed this experience. The host took exceptional care and photos of us. Completely optional but, he had me stand on top of my camel with the pyramids right behind for an amazing photo opp. These guys knows why the tourist want. 10/10 experience
