You will leave the city of Amman behind and take a 1-hour drive to the Dead Sea with a private English-speaking driver. Observing and indulging in the desert landscapes of Jordan on the way, with this half-day tour to the Dead Sea from Amman you will be Standing at around 400m below sea level since the Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth's surface.

Once you have arrived at the Dead Sea Resorts area the driver will inform you of all the available hotels in the area with various price ranges for day use depending on the hotel and if lunch is included or not. 5.00Great day. Picked up on time by Omar who was very pleasant and driven to Dead Sea with couple of stops on route for pictures. Unfortunately very misty. Arrived at resort, towels provided and easy access to Dead Sea for floating. Lunch later, good selection of hot , cold and dessert dishes. Back to Amman with stop for Dead Sea products shop. Well managed trip. Thank you

5.00At the beginning of the trip, our driver offered to take us to the Baptismal Site of Jesus Christ and Mount Nebo for 30 JOD extra for the two of us. We agreed to this as we’d not had an opportunity to visit these sites beforehand. The Baptismal Site of Jesus Christ cost 12 JOD per person for entry, and this included a group tour guide, and it lasted for around 2 hours. We later went to the Crown Plaza to go into the dead sea and then have a buffet lunch. Later on, we went to Mount Nepo, which costed 3 JOD per person, but this is cash only (card not accepted). The whole day took around 8-9 hours from Amman and back, including these two additional site stops. Our driver, Omar, was great and gave us waters throughout the journeys. He also showed us the facilities at the dead sea resort, and stopped at a few points to take photos for us. This day trip was definitely worth it. The dead sea was a lot warmer than expected, and the climate is a lot warmer than in Amman. We did this trip in late December, and it was definitely warm enough to go into the sea. We were taken to the Holiday Inn resort at first, but due to an event, the beach was closed, so we were taken to another hotel with the same rating, which was also nice, called the Crown Plaza resort. The buffet food was very good, and the hotel surroundings were also nice.

5.00Best experience! We made a last minute booking the night before for a 10am departure in the following day. Ommar happened to be the best driver ever! A great gentleman with amazing energy and hospitality. He not only provided driving, but also beautiful smiles, funny jokes, great photo taking and fantastic local music! Highly recommend! Ommar is a charming professional and entertaining driver you don’t want to miss!

3.00Our driver Awni was excellent and very informative. The lifeguard at the beach and attendant in the change room were very helpful and attentive. However, the Grand East hotel was at best a 3 star hotel and the lunch was a bus tour type buffet—unremarkable

5.00Omar was great! He picked me up from my hotel and took me to a a resort with private access to the Dead Sea. The included buffet they have for lunch is delicious with a combination of both local and western options.

5.00The Dead Sea trip was GREAT......A fun trip to see and experience on our last day in Jordan.....Our driver was fun and had lots of info share......They were able accomodate our group.....HIGHLY RECOMEND.....Ahmed was easy to deal with and very professional.

5.00Omar picked us up from our hotel, even adjusted the time to allow 30 more minutes for pickup since our room wasn’t ready and we had just gotten off a flight. The car is nice, has water stocked. He stopped and got us coffee, pulled over a couple of times to take some pics of some nice views and brought us to the holiday inn (which is fantastic) and showed us where the spa was, walked us down to the beach, got us towels and water and then let us relax and float! He was very polite and informative and helped make our Dead Sea day a wonderful memory.
