Discover the third largest geothermal field in the world and the largest in the southern hemisphere in the Atacama Desert. At 13,780 feet (4,200 meters) above sea level, the Tatio Geysers are a natural wonder that will take your breath away, in more ways than one.
Depart early in the morning, before sunrise, after pickup from your hotel. Arrive early at the geysers for a chance to observe the contrast between sunrise and steam from the heat of the magma-affected waters.
After sunrise, savor a full breakfast of bread, cheese, ham, scrambled eggs, coffee, chocolate, milk, and jam. After you've eaten, spend more time exploring the 80 geysers around the national park.
From there, ride through the Putana Valley. See endemic flora and fauna, and stop at a lagoon to see flamingos before heading back to your hotel.

After a 1 hour drive from San Pedro de Atacama we arrive at the third largest geothermal field in the world and the largest in the southern hemisphere in the Atacama desert. At 13,780 feet (4,200 meters) above sea level, the Tatio Geysers are a natural wonder that will take your breath away, in more ways than one. Later, we enjoy a delicious breakfast before visiting the next point.

5.00Our trip started EARLY, with a long drive to El Tatio park. It was worth it though, to watch the moon set and the sun rise over the mountains while our guide Anita gave us the history of the area and individual geysers. Anita made the trip - her obvious enthusiasm for the flora and fauna of the area was infectious! She pointed out things in the park that we would not have noticed - like colourful bacteria and even frogs living in the hot water. She was constantly pointing out wildlife, and we spotted birds, llama/guanaco, wild donkeys and a fox - all with a commentary of their place in the eco system. It was a joy! 😊 No big cats this time though!! Thank you Anita (and Brian for doing the driving!)

4.00The tour is definitely worth it. The geysers at sunrise are great and the scenery is great. The guide could have brought more information about the landscape and geology. Overall, it was a bit poor.

4.00The guide soraya was great, explaining everything in detail and showing knowledge. A negative point is that they did not make it clear that breakfast would be only after 2 stops (in the other tours is always the first stop), so we were very hungry. It's super understandable to be late due to the geyser time, but I think you should be informed more clearly.

5.00I took tours to Baltinache lagoon with Francisco and then to the Piedras rojas, Tatio Geysers and Valle de la luna with Brandon. All of the tours were fantastic. Both Brandon and Francisco added to the experience they were kind and helpful and gave great information about the places which we visited. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

5.00The Geysers del Tatio tour was far beyond a tour. It was an experience that I will keep forever!!! I want to leave a special thanks to the guides Anita Paula and Soraia, who made all the difference. From the beginning, they brought light, fun and welcoming energy. They explained everything with passion, bringing a lot of interesting and important information about the Atacama (they gave a real lesson about the place!) In addition, they took care of every detail and kept the group excited the whole time. It was they who turned the tour into something truly unforgettable!! Thank you, girls! The photos show a bit of what we've been through, but the best stayed in the spontaneous moments: laughs, jokes and, of course, the perfect ending in San Pedro, when we sang RBD together to close with a golden key (and of course you have a photo of that moment too!) It was one of those scenes that I feel like I will remember forever. These are memories that I carry in my heart — and friendships that I want to carry with me for life and find again when I get back to Atacama! I also leave my compliments to the agency, which was super organized, punctual and professional. Everything went perfectly. I recommend closed eyes! ❤️✨
