Our guides enjoy teaching kids, beginners and experts how to fish! We offer both fly fishing and spin fishing options.

We also specialize in group and family fishing! We have large drift boats that can accommodate up to 5 guests for the ultimate fishing experience.

Our half day and full day trips are great for beginner, intermediate, and advanced anglers! Half day trips are around 4 hours on the water, and 5 hours in total depending on what river is fishing the best. Full Day trips are 6 hours on the water and 7 hours in total. Some of the rivers include the famous Snake River, the Green River, the Salt River, and Lewis Lake. All trips are conducted by floating in a Driftboat. Travis was an awesome guide. He knew the Snake River in Wyoming like the back of his hand. He showed me how to read the river to find the best spots to catch fish. With his guide I caught cutthroat trout and whites. Bottom line, it was a fun day on the Snake!

It was a wonderful experience made easy by our guide, Ryan. He did a great job getting us in the right spots to catch fish and he kept his eyes peeled for wildlife as well. We would highly recommend him.

Husband and college boys went fly fishing with Travis. They had an amazing time. Travis came extremely well prepared and was very knowledgeable about the best places to fish. He was very engaging and super patient with my college boys since this was their first time fly fishing. Travis is awesome. My family is still talking about their time flying. Highly recommend The Wandering Angler for any fishing trips. Fantastic company !

Mark our guide took the time to help my wife with how to fly fish. Great tackle and boat for fly fishing. They have been in business for over 20 years so you can't go wrong. His expertise put us on a bunch of fish. Great way to enjoy a 1/2 day cruising and fishing the Snake river. Lot's of wildlife as well.

Wow, We had a great experience. Our guide, Brendan was fantastic, explained and taught us all we needed to know to have a wonderful experience. We all caught fish, saw beautiful surroundings and wildlife. We all highly recommend this experience.

We had a great time! We had no fly-fishing experience before and Jack was able to show us how to use the rods. We were able to catch many cutthroat trout along the way. Learned about fly-fishing during the trip and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the Snake River! Highly recommend!
