Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary
Guests will snorkel and kayak in the protected waters of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, exploring shallow seagrass beds, coral heads, and quiet mangrove islands. Our crew will lead you through calm, winding channels where you’ll learn about this unique backcountry ecosystem—home to rays, tropical fish, small sharks, sport fish, and the occasional sea turtle. Overhead, keep an eye out for birds like herons, egrets, ospreys, and pelicans that thrive in the mangroves. No kayaking experience? No problem. Our stable sea kayaks are easy to handle, and our crew will have you paddling like a pro in no time.
Key West
The trip begins with a sail through Key West Harbor, where you’ll get a front-row view of the island’s colorful past and present. From the water, you’ll see historic landmarks, working shrimp boats, luxury yachts, and the charming mix of old and new that defines the Key West waterfront. As we cruise along the coastline, our crew will share stories about the island’s rich history—from its days as a bustling port town to its reputation as a haven for artists, pirates, and presidents alike.

Have a fun filled 4+ hours out on the water with great crew and guests!

5.00Do this trip!! It was fun, casual, a great group of folks just looking to enjoy the water off Key West. I love that they mixed it up and provided us a lovely sail, snorkeling, kayaking, and then the sunset ride back.

5.00The BEST trip. Katie and Micah were so friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. Such a great crew. Did some incredible snorkeling, guided kayaking, sunset sail. Snacks, wine, beer. What more could you want?????!!!!! Can’t wait to come back

Great crew but the snorkeling/kayaking …not so much…

3.00Crew was nice. Was very disappointed in both the snorkel and the mangrove kayaking. Where they took us to snorkel was just out in the middle of nowhere and the water was super choppy and not that clear. There were hardly any fish or any pretty colors. No coral reefs at all. They just had us out there floating with no engagement from the crew. Everything was drab and dead looking. Saw a few fish, but honestly saw more fish and prettier ones at the dock where we were staying in Marathon. As far as the kayaking, I thought we were supposed to be weaving in the small spaces where there was more wildlife, but we made a circle around a little mangrove patch and didn’t see anything. Some birds above, and a jelly fish, but those were also at the same dock where we were staying. Nothing special. The brochure said the trip was until 8 pm, but we were docked and getting off the boat by 7:10, which was fine because we were over it by then. Just feel like it was a high price for nothing special and I wish I had booked with a different charter or spent that money on something we would have enjoyed so Much more.

1.00Our ship changed plans due to weather and we couldn’t make this charter. We requested a refund through Trip Advisor who informed us that Danger Charters denied our request. Danger also did not respond to my inquiries. Lousy customer service! If you’re on a cruise in Key West port, I wouldn’t recommend Danger Charters.

5.00Staff were polite, helpful & had a great sense of humor. Rocky took our group & couldn't ask for a better tour guide. You could tell he loved the Keys & all the nature & history. He was a superb tour guide & answered all my questions. Rocky is top notch

5.00FABULOUS!!! If we had time we would’ve gone out EVERYDAY! Our crew was so fun, knew so much about the area, so helpful. It was truly the best day we’ve had all year! The trip was so enjoyable, we were met by the Captain (Mary) & her crew, Laura & Lindsey. We set sail & were served a cup of fresh fruit on our way out to the lighthouse…they set us up for snorkeling & we’re so helpful. We’ve only been once before but they were great in giving us tips & guided us. A wonderful lunch was provided, exactly what was needed, filling but not heavy. Sailed to the mangrove island & got us loaded into our kayaks. Again, they made it so easy & comfortable, very informative about the ecology & the marine life. Upon returning to the ship we were served a snack & beverages for the sail back to the harbor. The weather was beautiful, the schooner was great & the crew were amazing! It was the first time my husband has sailed on a schooner (only his 2nd time to ever sail) & he is HOOKED!! It’s been a rough year for us & this was truly the best day of the year! We haven’t stopped talking about it. THANK YOU TO CAPTAIN MARY, LAURA & LINDSEY FOR AN AMAZING DAY !!!

5.00Awesome experience for a family with 12 and 17 years old boys. Everything was better than expected. Don't look further. This is it! The captain and mate were super friendly and chill. Highly highly recommended. Saw many marine lives including lobsters and sharks and also birds in mangroves. So nice to close the day with good red and beautiful sunset on a yacht! Thanks for making us unforgettable memories!
