A superbly presented tour of Halifax that puts the history and sites of the city into perspective within the context of the natural, cultural and political history of Nova Scotia from 1749.
This tour highlights the link between Halifax to the Bay of Fundy, Lunenburg and other areas. See the site of the Halifax Explosion and the sites related to Halifax's connection with the Titanic, including the final resting place of 121 Titanic victims.

5.00Lots to do, good restaurants, bars and, you can catch some maritime music if you wish. We had a guide for the first day, Paul McNeil, who was very knowledgeable in Halifax history. We took his 6 hour tour with our 15 year old grandson and he kept us all informed and interested. Paul McNeil, Halifax History Tours (902) 292-6780.

5.00We booked our 3 hour tour of the Halifax and the surrounding area with Johnathan Duru of Aberdeen Tours and it was a highlight of our visit to the area. Johnathan was very knowledgeable about the area and had plenty of insight to add regarding the local history and culture. We even added a side trip to the Diwali Festival of Lights in Halifax which we had heard about and he agreed to take us there and we had a wonderful lunch at the event.
