You will follow one of the very picturesque roads of Austria with unforgettable views of magnificent Alpine nature. You will admire landscapes and colours of fabulous Hallstatt and definitely will be charmed by this spectacular town. It will be not possible to leave without making pictures on the wedding bridge of a white-snow Ort castle. These must-to-see places will help you discovering a delicate soul, a rich story and a natural beauty of the Austrian lake region.

Choose at least 24 hour before tour departure an option with free hotel pick-up, which starts approx. 45 min prior to departure.
Please note that you will cover approx. 600 km. by motorway and Alpine roads at this day. It is approx. 7,5 hours drive with short breaks. You will spend approx. 20 minutes in Ort castle, max. 3 hours in Hallstatt, 15 minutes in Traunkirchen, 2 stops on the highway for coffee break.
Since most places don’t accept cards in Hallstatt, we advise you to bring some cash for boats and street food, as well as 50-cent coins for the toilets.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SKYWALK VISITORS Skywalk lift began extensive renovation works and will remain in operation until 31 August 2025. Pease note: Skywalk viewpoint is no longer barrier-free accessible. Wheelchairs and pushchairs must be parked at the valley station and there are many steps to go from moutaint station to Skywalk view point. The Skywalk lift will be closed for renovation from Septemeber 2025 to June 2026

5.00I was in the fence regarding adding this experience to our itinerary but very glad we did. It is a bit of a drive on a bus, but we had around three hours in Halstatt to explore, shop, and enjoy a leisurely lunch of some great food. So glad we did this.

5.00We recently took a day trip from Vienna to Salzburg and the fairytale views of Hallstatt Long day, but 100% worth it—mountains, lakes, and postcard-perfect streets all in one trip. Our tour guide Lily was very nice and friendly, so glad we got to meet her.

5.00awesome experience for a solo traveler! sophia was such a friendly and informative guide and was always available to answer any questions. the journey to and from hallstatt was super easy, with small breaks in between. we were allowed 3 hours in hallstatt which was plenty of time. the tour was well organized!

5.00Dasha was amazing as our guide. She gave us fun and interesting historical facts during the trip. She was also balanced in giving us quiet time to rest and played great music time to time which everyone seemed to appreciate. Dasha also gave us great tips for each rest stop as well as when we finally reached Hallstatt. Even though the drive was long, with the breaks and our driver’s amazing skills, it went by quickly. We were given reasonable time for every break as well as our destination visits. Thankfully, everyone in our group was always on time and that helped us get to Hallstatt as well as back to Vienna at a reasonable time. The bus was large and a double decker which made it comfortable for the long drive. Hallstatt is breath-taking and the pictures don’t do it justice! Don’t hesitate and book this trip!
