You’ll join one of our local Hamburg hosts for a personalized experience of this maritime port city. From local food to the design of The Elbphilharmonie concert hall, you’ll discover the city’s unique charm and culture. Amble through the town center or check out artsy districts on the foreshore. And of course there’s always time for food - it’s less brätwurst and more franzbrötchen here.

Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.

A wonderful house with a very well maintained garden with large swimming pool. Valérie, the hostess, exudes charm and is always well laid out and very helpful. Breakfast can be arranged individually. The man of Valérie, excellent chef, spoils guests here and there with delicious menus. We like to go back anytime.

Fabulous walking tour with Deniz. We covered the old town, office district, warehouse district and port. Very informative journey through Hamburg’s history, culture and architecture. I would highly recommend.

Aline was amazing, a wealth of knowledge and so bubbly! We covered over 10 miles on foot and didn’t notice as we were so engaged. She had taken the time to learn our backgrounds and interests, knew everyone by name. What a delightful time!

I spent 4 hours on a mostly walking tour (with a few metro rides) with Dave who showed me around central Hamburg. The tour was thorough, the pace was comfortable, and I felt I was able to get a real feel for the city and it’s residents. Dave was knowledgeable, personable, and friendly. I did this tour as a day trip from Berlin which I think worked out well for me.

Lory was a wonderful guide to Hamburg. Highly recommended. Lory was very accommodating and met our needs perfectly. She checked out the places we wanted to visit and made sure the times were accurate. A very wonderful introduction to Hamburg!

We spent half a day with a wonderful tour guide Lenard Jackson, I highly recommend him! He is very knowledgeable and has a wonderful personality...knows a lot of good places to eat and drink
