Join us in a full day's tour to Hamlet's Castle, where we travel up the coast road, Strandvejen and arrive in the charming old town of Helsingør, known as Elsinor in English.
After our visit to Elsinor, we sail across the Øresund to Sweden and travel along the Swedish country roads to the ancient City of Lund, where you can visit Lund Cathedral, which was completed in the year 1145. Behind the cathedral you can explore the tiny streets, with houses dating back to the 1700s. It's like stepping back into history!
Afterwards we travel to Malmö, Sweden's third largest city, where you will have a chance to do some shopping and take advantage of Sweden's lower purchase taxes, which means there are some very nice prices!
Finally we return to Copenhagen across the impressive Øresund Bridge.

5.00They picked us up on time at the prearranged location even though there was a computer glitch. Personal narration was good and key items like timing was reininforced. Ear buds for prerecorded narration details were very clear. Marco was able to diplomatically defuse a disruptive situation with competing loud music and talking and arguing by a group on the bus causing some another passengers to get upset.
Memorable Tour of Helsingor, Lund and Malmö

5.00It was a long day, but well worth it. The drive to Helsingor was scenic and our driver/guide Sten (Steen?) shared lots of interesting stories during the drive. There was also an informative audio guide when he wasn't speaking. Wandering through Kronberg Slot provided great photo ops and the placards in each room were very informative. In one of the bedrooms, a sign encourages visitors to lie in the King's bed and imagine what it might have been like to live there! In the grand ballroom, visitors can sit on the throne and ponder whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of misfortune or... The ferry was quick and offered gorgeous scenic views. Sten was kind enough to take photos of all the tour participants. Lund was pretty, but very quiet and a bit slow, especially for a weekday. Malmo was beautiful. I especially appreciated learning all about the WWII white bus rescue operation. One of the last remaining buses is on display at Malmo Castle. On our way back to Copenhagen, we stopped briefly right before the Oresund Bridge so that we could take photos. Again, Sten went out of his way to take everyone's photo. We could tell that he derived great joy from ensuring we all had an enjoyable time. Tips: 1) Make sure to walk through the castmates beneath Kronberg Slot to get a feel of how lonely and scary it must have felt being imprisoned down there or living down there as part of the military. 2) Don't make early dinner plans. The entire tour could take 7 hours, but it could also take 8.5 hours.
Stein the tour guide made our day fun.

5.00Our tour to Sweden for the day was awesome. Our guide was Stein (Stone). He was very friendly and kind. He ensured everyone was sure of the amount of time spent at each town for sightseeing. It was great to explore each place by ourselves and do whatever we chose to see. And then reboard the bus. Stein was a very interesting tour guide who told us he was friends with the Prince of Denmark. He told us alot about what it is like to live in Denmark. We learnt a lot about Sweden and the amount of tax they pay etc. It was very upsetting to me when he told us about Swedish gangs forcing teenagers to shoot people in Denmark. I wish I didn't know about that. However, we still were very happy with Stein and the entire tour. He was a wonderful driver and we would tour with Enjoy the tours next time we travel from Australia to Denmark. Thank you.

5.00The guide was very good and quite pleasant throughout the tour. The time is short in each place; however, it is worth visiting 3 cities and 2 countries in 1 day. Highly recommended if you do not have much time to visit. Crossing by ferry one way and returning by bridge is incredible.
