With 16 years F&B experience and his love for history & culture, the host puts all the puzzles together to show you a picture of different characters of people in 3 main regions of Vietnam (South/Central/North). All the ingredients used will be explained clearly, they all reflex the connections of regional history, situations and preferences. After this session, the eager-to-explore travelers will not only know how to make and adjust the delicious trendy coffee drinks to fit your tastes / moods, but also explore the country's diverse culture that stretches 1,650km in length. In short, It gives you the thoughtful look of Vietnam's 3 regions through the tasty coffees which represent them.

During the 2 hours long sessions, you'll get to know: The brief history of Vietnam coffee culture. Practice making pure PHIN coffee the right methods, I'll make a wrong sample at the same time so you can compare the different tastes. Make the very famous Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk, together with its stories and ingredients combination explained. How it reflexes Saigon/South Vietnam people. Make the modern trendy Salted cream coffee from Central Vietnam, tricks and ingredients explained. Make the extraordinary Egg coffee of Hanoi, and how the characteristics of the capital shown through the coffee. All in all, a diverse culture of Vietnamese coffee explained by the coffee they drink.

5.00We had such an informative and lovely afternoon with Quynh. He gave us an introductory history of coffee production and distribution in Vietnam that was both engaging and interesting. The workshop was well thought through and considered while ensuring we didn’t consume too much caffeine across the 2 hours. We made three of the iconic coffees of Vietnam and all were perfectly prepped and prepared, tasting delicious also. Recommend for anyone with an interest or appreciation of coffee.

5.00Qunyh was a wonderful host. The whole experience was perfectly laid out. It was in an attic workshop, the tables and the accessories were perfectly laid out. He even prepared the ‘most tastiest Banh Mi’ in the city to eat before I taste so many coffee’s! The history lesson was very appropriate. For each of the coffee making he provides delightful insights of the local culture that went into some of the quirky ingredients. Also he was exceptional in allowing me to craft the whole coffee 100% on my own, while he explained or sometimes did his own pre demo. He has even followed up days later to share some of the recipes. The whole event wasn’t rushed at all. In fact I wish could do more to help the visitors to the culture and the city be more aware of this workshop.

5.00Had the BEST afternoon with Quynh, who is not only friendly but also an expert in the coffee production industry. He provided us with great stories about the development of Vietnam coffee and clear instructions on how to make coffee that suit our individual taste. I would give 10 stars if there was this option!

5.00I loved this coffee course! Quynh gave me a nice experience in a relaxed environment. He practically showed me how I could make the different types of coffee in an educational way. I also got to know Vietnam’s history in the coffee industry and we were able to philosophize around the different types of coffee and its origins. Highly recommend taking time for this activity if you love coffee!

5.00We really enjoyed our interactive workshop with Quynh, learning a lot about Vietnamese culture, history, and global coffee culture through each drink. Quynh was interesting, knowledgable and enthusiastic which made him a great and engaging teacher. We would really recommend this workshop to people interested in learning more about Vietnamese history and culture. We also bought the unique Vietnamese coffee grinds and maker to take back home, and have been enjoying the iced Vietnamese coffee we have been making since our visit! Thank you, Quynh.
