Discover the Art of Handcrafted Pewter in Nova Scotia! Each Amos Pewter Hands-On Experience tour begins with a demonstration from our Artisans of how we cast molten pewter into hand-carved rubber mould to create each of our handcrafted designs. Follow along with our artisans, and pick up your own tools to sketch, carve, smooth, and finish your own pewter piece. A perfect experience for couples, families, and large groups looking for a uniquely local experience! It was fun to see Luke melt the pewter and tell us how the figures are molded and cast. We were stopping by Halifax on a cruise ship. The people at the store were very nice.
