Your professional guide and driver will meet at your downtown Hangzhou hotel or railway station if you travel by train. Spend few mins to discuss with your guide the sites you are interested to visit. Since it is the private tour, the itinerary can be fully customized and totally flexible. Following is the suggested itinerary, be sure to let your guide know if you need make any changes. Typically, start the tour at Lingyin scenic area, visit the largest stone grottoes in southern China, walk along the caves while marvel at over 300 different sizes of exquisite stone carved buddha statues from thousand years ago.

Next, make your way to Lingyin Temple, one of the ten most famous Buddhist temple in China, visit different sections of the temple with grand architectures, admire the Four Heavenly Kings, Happy Buddha as well as other religious artifacts, learn about the locals go about their religious culture and custom.

5.00The tour arrangements were seamless and efficient, and the tour guide, Sarah, was knowledgeable and pleasant. Tour itinerary was extremely flexible and catered to us, as we had a list of places we wanted to visit in Hangzhou, and Sarah was extremely accommodating with a quick turnaround. We were able to explore with ease of mind as food and transport were already settled for us.

5.00Emily, our personal guide was absolutely fantastic! From meeting us at the station in the morning till sending us off back at the station in the late evening, she was attentive, knowledgeable and very patient with us. Weather all day was horrendous but she still made the tour very enjoyable.

5.00I booked this tour last minute and couldn’t have been more impressed with the entire experience. From the seamless communication with the company to the comfortable car and skilled driver, everything was well coordinated and smooth. The real highlight, however, was my tour guide, Emily. She was not only warm and welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable — sharing rich historical insights about Buddhism, the stunning West Lake, and the significance of Longjing tea culture. Her storytelling truly brought each site to life, from the peaceful Fei Lai Feng carvings to the serene temple grounds and lush tea fields. Thanks to Emily, I was able to access places I wouldn’t have confidently navigated on my own, especially in such a short timeframe. This tour offered the perfect blend of history, nature, and culture — all in one day. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting an immersive and insightful introduction to Hangzhou.

5.00Our guide was Cindy and she was lovely - spoke great english and was very knowledgable of the area. We are now leaving Hangzhou satisfied that we’ve seen everything there is to see and it is a beautiful place to visit! She gave us recommendations on where to go for dinner as well and we got some extra understanding of classic Chinese stories we didn’t understand when exploring alone the day before. 10/10 experience. Would recommend staying 2 or 3 days if you want to see everything.

5.00This was a wonderful tour - and our guide, Sunny, was perfect! Hotel pick-up was prompt, lots of fun facts provided prior to arrival at West Lake and a great cruise on the lake. The other folks on our boat were super welcoming and even sang to our group! Lunch at the tea house was savory, authentic and filling. A nice step away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Buddha’s at the stone grottoes were inspiring. A final stop for some souvenirs was a perfect way to round out the day. The logistics of the tour were seamless and we were able to enjoy the day with no worries. Would absolutely recommend this tour - and you’ll be very lucky if Sunny is your tour guide (English speaking)!
