I visited the Haras de Pirque Vineyard during a trip through the Maipo Valley and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my entire time in Chile. From the moment we arrive, the surroundings already impress: vineyards that stretch at the foot of the mountain range, fresh air and a view that looks like a painting. The main building, shaped like a horseshoe, reflects the equestrian history of the place and gives it a very special character. The tour was a perfect blend of technical information, history and local charm. We learned about its gravity winemaking and organic approach while tasting several wines at different points along the way. The entrance fee includes the tour, the tasting and the possibility of touring part of the vineyard on your own, which is totally worth it. The atmosphere is serene and elegant, ideal to disconnect from the noise of the city. The size of the group was small, which made the experience feel very personalized. The staff was friendly and professional, always attentive to answer questions and maintain a relaxed Mood. After the tour, we had lunch at the Hussonet restaurant, where each dish was perfectly paired with house wines. All accompanied by a breathtaking panoramic view. I especially recommend the package with sunset dinner, it is ideal for couples or travelers looking for a quiet, gourmet and surrounded by nature experience. It is a place where wine, history and landscape combine with authentic Chilean hospitality.

We had a wonderful time at Haras de Pirque just outside Santiago. The setting is stunning — vineyards at the foot of the Andes, and the winery designed in a horseshoe shape that gives the place a very special character. wanderlog.com +1 Our guide was friendly and informative, making the wine-tasting easy to enjoy even as non-experts. The wines themselves were very good — interesting, balanced, and reflective of the region. If you’re looking to escape the city for a few hours and enjoy a quality wine experience with beautiful views, this is a top choice.
