We embarked on the "City of the Dead" tour with high hopes, but Ross surpassed every expectation. He wasn't just a guide reciting a script; he was a masterful storyteller who completely transported us to the city's grim and ghastly past. From the moment we met in the gloom of the graveyard, his presence was captivating. His deep, resonant voice commanded silence, making every creak of a gate and rustle of leaves feel intentional. He wove historical facts with local legends so seamlessly that the line between truth and tale blurred perfectly. His knowledge was evidently vast, answering obscure questions with ease, but it was his delivery that was truly spellbinding. He knew precisely when to pause for dramatic effect, when to lean in and lower his voice to a whisper, making us hang on his every word. Ross didn’t just show us the shadows; he made them breathe. He transformed a simple underground close into a place of palpable dread and turned historical figures into lingering spirits. This wasn’t a cheesy, jump-scare attraction; it was an immersive, chilling, and utterly compelling experience. 5.00We took the haunted tour in Halloween and we had a great time. Ross was very entertaining, theatrical and a bit eccentric/Looney😆, just like the character that he was representing!(Beetle juice). He told us original stories that I've never heard before 👏👏(and I've done quite a few tours in Edinburgh!) It was a nice treat. Thank you very much Ross from the Argentinian with the dress full of skulls!😁Tour highly recommended!
