Meri is hilarious AND a great storyteller! There were lots of other guides out with tours that night, and I could hear portions of their narratives. They came in a distant second. Meri is TERRIFIC!

Mari was wonderful. Knowledgeable with a good speaking voice. Kept the group interested and being born and raised in the area, knew all the history.

Had an incredible experience on our haunted French Quarter tour with Lisa! She combined the local haunted history with pop culture references which made the experience super relatable. She was so sweet and knowledgable of the area, answering whatever questions we had with total honesty. That includes questions about food, which she had an additional wealth of knowledge! It's a very cool experience - if you like history, spooky things, and southern charm, this is a good pick!

Great Haunted Pub Crawl with @exploring_nola from Lafitte's Blacksmith shop all the way to Muriel's. Met King David at the beginning which set the tone but a wonderful night of storytelling and sharing experiences. #freetoursbyfoot First time in forever I have done a tour here but Lisa was fantastic!

I was a first time visitor of New Orleans and only there for 2 days so wanted to pack in as much as I possible could. I did three Tours by Foot tours. Every city I go to I look for this company. The guides in each city have always been knowledgeable, great presenters, and provided overall wonderful tours. This city was no different! I took two tours with Matthew - the French Quarter and Garden District tour. Both were wonderful, tying in some current knowledge with historical information. Matthew was superb in navigating the weather (it was hot in one tour - because July - and then rained right before the next one). It was smaller groups but Matthew kept the energy up and was quite helpful with other local recommendations. I definitely recommend taking a tour with Matthew! The last tour I took in New Orleans with the Tours by Foot Spooks & Spirits with Lisa. Lisa was amazing! I actually thought of booking the same tour with Lisa the following day just to learn more. Another group ended up canceling and it was just me on this tour “group.” Lisa kept the energy up while ensuring I still got an amazing experience. She is local to the area and provided great insight to all the sites. She really made the city come to life in her story telling!!! I will definitely be seeking out Lisa on my next trip to New Orleans, I’d gladly attend any tour she would be doing, cannot recommend enough taking a tour with Lisa!

Andrew was considerate, polite and very knowledgeable about the French Quarter History. He had wonderful stories and was engaging while telling them. The tour went to interesting locations inspired by the spirits that could be residing there.

Evian was very knowledgeable and had such a fun spin on the “horror”. We mostly enjoyed the in-depth knowledge and the willingness to answer all of our random questions. Evian is wildly knowledgeable about the history of New Orleans and the time flew by quickly! We were very grateful we had such personalized attention and the small size of the group. I know we had a much better experience than the large groups that passed by. Thanks for the flexibility too about the schedule. It was a perfect experience!

Very disappointed. Did not go to 4 of the places listed on the itinerary that we really want to learn about. Tour guide walk ahead of us and never told us about anything along the, just talked about the few places we stopped at. Said it was a crowded night with other tours around. Ended tour 15 minutes early

My bestie and I were visiting New Orleans. We did a Spooks and Spirits Pub Crawl with Lisa. We had the best time! Lisa was knowledgeable and fun. She kept us interested and answered any questions we had. She did an amazing job, and I'd love to do another tour with her. I would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our French Quarter tour. A friend and I had a girls weekend. Our guy‘s name was Matthew, and he was fantastic. Friendly, funny, and very informative. Told lots of great stories. He even sent a text prior to the meet time with his photos so we would know how to look for him. He gave a suggestions for where to go eat. Highly recommend the tours by foot. I’ve taken this French Quarter tour at least four times, the garden district one a few times, and even the ghost tour once. Every guide I’ve ever had has been wonderful. Thanks, Mathew!
