Great tour guide explaining all the different foods we tried. More than enough food and all interesting and different. Small group of 12 people made for a great experience. I highly recommend this 3 hour tour.

A fun culinary experience. We really felt like we learned much about the food culture of the island. You come away from this tour with a genuine appreciation for all the hard working people who prepare these foods everyday. So many different foods and tastes that you are really sated and depending on your group, there may be leftovers to take home! Our guide, Victor, knows so much about the food, people and history that the day flew by! Be prepared for an afternoon nap afterwards, or a jog!

This was one of the most fun food tours I’ve done! Walking through Chinatown was super cool, the food we had was awesome, and the explanations superb. Taking home leftovers was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed all of the foods that we had. strongly recommend not eating before you go on this tour as the amount of food is incredible!

From the beginning Victor was prompt in responses and arranged transportation well. He and his sidekick, TJ, saw to everything. They provided history and anecdotes that were interesting. The food was amazing in both quantity and quality. Come hungry! We got to try fruits we had only heard of in a great friendly group. The meat and fish were incredible. Be sure to check the list of foods because this is not for the unadventurous . A great experience for our first day in Hawai’i ! Mahalo! Cathy

Victor was our tour guide and was friendly, personable and knowledgeable. Learned a lot about the origins of the food we tasted, experienced such a wonderful variety of foods and was so convenient. From the most amazing fruit tasting to roasted duck and pork, the most buttery tuna and other yummy local food made it one of the best food tours I’ve been.

Victor is an extremely generous host—picking us up at our hotel and accommodating all the dietary needs and tastes of the group. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to taste such a wide variety of local and traditional foods, and there was so much that we had leftovers for lunch the next day!
