Heviz Lake is Europe's biggest geothermal heated lake with all year around bathing and wellness facilities since the water temperature always stays between 26-38 degrees Celsius even during the coldest winter months. With various massages, sauna, wellness and mud bath you will surely be rejuvenated inside out. On your way you will have a chance to stop at some nice locations with your English speaking driver.
The lake is situated near the western end of Lake Balaton about 2.5 hours away from Budapest, with adjacent spa baths both outdoor and indoor. This is a whole day private tour to and from your Budapest accommodation.

This will be a unique full day tour for you and your family or friends. First your private driver/guide will take you to explore the town of Heviz then to the Lake Heviz for a pleasant bath. After the refreshing swim in the lake, you will see the Mediterranean town of Keszthely with its beutiful castle called The Festetich Castle. On your way back you will have a chance to stop at the historic town of Szekesfehervar (optional)

4.00Just back from a lovely day with Orsolya. She proved an excellent host. Our trip to old world Hungarian Lake Heviz was a special experience and the castle tour was a great time also. Lots of fun.....

5.00Enjoyed an afternoon in the lake. The lake is warm - ish! But when you came out of the water it was very cool... Not sure I liked the mud bed and mossy feel at my feet! The water lilies are lovely although only a few out yet. It was certainly an experience you have to do if you’re in the area.
