Our guide will welcome you to the Basilica del Voto Nacional, an icon of Quito. From the outside, we will appreciate its gothic architecture and learn about the history of the famous Church of the End of the World (If you wish to climb the towers for a panoramic view of the city, the entrance fee is not included, and costs approximately $4.00). We will also visit the entrance to the Pantheon of the Presidents of Ecuador.

5.00We opted for the Private Tour. Who accompanied us was the guide Marlon who demonstrated deep knowledge about the city, culture and history of Quito and Ecuador. In addition to exploring the historic center we had the opportunity to know drinks and sweets typical of the region is a taste of chocolates where we had a deeper knowledge of cocoa cultivation in the region.

4.00Grace was an informative and friendly guide with obvious enthusiasm for Quito and for Ecuadior. We covered a lot in 3 hours, despite Grace having to speak in both English and Spanish. It was a very busy day in Quito (palm sunday) so we couldn't get into all the buildings, but it gave us a good background and we soaked up the atmosphere. Personally we were not bothered by the sweets, ice creams snd chocolate making (would have preferred more architecture and art) but we appreciate that's part of the 'deal' on a free tour. This was our first free walking tour and we'd certainly consider them again.

5.00Wow! Fun, informative and fascinating tour! Grace's enthusiasm for her city and her positive energy shone through the tour. She was informative, had a great sense of humor and I learned a ton. She clearly loves her city, which added joy to the tour and I highly recommend it. She introduced me to many new spots that made my stay in Quito easier and more fun. Well done! Highly recommend!

5.00It was a very nice experience, the very professional guide, explained us in great detail and made the effort to make us feel comfortable and safe at all times. The chocolate tasting at the end of the tour was the best closure, everything very well coordinated, it is worth 100%.
