  The site is a cool experience. However on the way there we stopped on the side of the road asked to buy some kind of cold dessert. This was not on the schedule so was frustrating and felt like the guide trying to shake us down for money. Also in the way there was poor explanation and came around twice asking for money which was for the tickets but there was no explanation so was a bit unsettling. We also stayed at the site for three hours which I think is too long and was also advertised that we would stay for two hours.

  Well organised and comfortabke - no commercial stops (which is great) - a trip with good time to explore the pools and mountain side around. the accompanying guide was bi-lingual and friendly, making the trip complete with our driver. Thank you

  I loved not having to wake up early and rush--companies should consider offering more tours that start at a reasonable hour. The tour was fine, Poncho the company rep was great and the driver was very good. I enjoyed being at Hierve El Agua. Recommended .

  This is a great trip if you want to visit with no extras or hidden stops or unnecessary visits to other attractions. We were picked up on time, it was all very efficient and well organised. We were guided through the process of entering the park and the walking routes. This doesn’t include a guide but you really don’t need one, the small briefing when we arrived was completely sufficient. A magical experience with plenty of time to hike and swim and back in Oaxaca city by the afternoon!

  The place is amazing, it is a must on your trip to Oaxaca, the guys on this tour are amazing, although they only take you to the place and you have to know the place on your own or pay guide it is worth booking with them, the rate is not expensive besides they pass by you at home or wherever you indicate. Also book with this agency a tour the next day to the Sierra de Oaxaca. Transportation is very punctual and safe, I would book with them again.

  It was a great trip to Herve el Agua. The mini bus was for 18 people and comfortable. The AC wasn’t on as advertised, however the weather outside was perfect (69F) and we were comfortable without the AC. The hike is low-medium difficulty, the petrified cascades were gorgeous, and the natural infinity pools at the end of the hike were the highlight of the trip. The trip has no guide, but no one was needed. Well worth the money ($39).

  This was a great no-frills trip to Hierve el Agua. We got comfortable, efficient transportation, some good information about the location and were able to spend hours hiking around the area and enjoying the pools.

  We had a good time at Hierve el Agua. The pickup experience at Quinta Real was very easy and pleasant and the drive was fine. Once we arrived there was a bit of confusion about where to go to get to the pools etc, as we were immediately left to our own devices (unless you request a local guide). The man leading the group said we had to be back at the van at 2:30pm, which was 30 minutes earlier than advertised - this cut our time a bit short, and then he didn't arrive at the van himself until 2:55. However the place was nice and the transfer saved a lot of hassle trying to figure out other transport.

  It was great! The tour operator was professional, on-time, and was very responsive during the booking process. Hierve offers the option of a more difficult hike for the more adventurous.
