Saint George Bay

Our first stop is St. George’s Bay, a spectacular natural bay on the east coast of Symi that’s only accessible by boat. Here we’ll drop anchor for a refreshing 1.5 hours amid a backdrop of turquoise waters and wild, natural landscape. Slip into the silky, crystal-clear sea to swim, or borrow a snorkel to delve into the colourful underwater world. Alternatively sit back, sip a cocktail and just enjoy the view.

We buy the ticket online with an indication of the meeting point at 10 am (instead 10 am was the departure time of the ship) in a wrong place so we wait but not seeing anyone we call the operator who does not even apologize for providing the wrong address and gives us a new address but not being us local we took a few minutes more to realize where to go. We arrive 5 min late, of course, and the ship had left. For the price we paid (twice as much as the others) we would have expected at least a DA call from the operator considering that the error was his both in giving us a wrong address and in communicating the meeting time that if it had been (as it is normal that it is) half an hour before departure would have allowed us to arrive on time and not to miss the ship, with all the inconvenience that ensued! Icing on the cake, when we contacted the operator to find a solution in a rude way he dismissed us saying that they were our problems! And when we told him we were going to release a negative review his answer was NO problem! You obviously know that's true! Otherwise, he would have resented it anyway. Ultimately I would definitely not recommend it! There are many others who do the same Service at half price and with courtesy

A beautiful day around Symi island with a great stop at St George bay for swimming and a 3 hour walk in the picturesque town of Symi.. The boat was in excellent condition (wg including) and the staff was absolutely friendly, polite and smiling all the time despite harsh conditions of working. Only the lack of a/c indoor is a minor drawback..
