5.00We went on the hidden gems of Lyon tour. Paul , the guide, was very pleasant and personable. He is good at explaining the places and history about them. He also gave some advice on restaurants and local places to visit. We had about 12 people in our group. He speaks English very well. The tour lasted 2 hours, not rushed , but we got a lot of info . We enjoyed his tour very much and would definitely recommend it

5.00It is a shame that you can only give a five rating, it was worth at least double that! Paul was entertaining and informative. It was by far the best city tour we have ever been on. We highly recommend.

5.00Super tour. Paul was a great guide with very interesting observations and information about Lyon. He also was great at engaging the group. I don’t typically like guided tours, preferring to explore in my own, but this was well worth the time and I happily paid a tip

5.00We took the free walking tour with Paul in Lyon a few days ago and really enjoyed the experience. Paul did an excellent job showing us around several different neighborhoods while explaining the history behind them in a way that was clear, engaging, and easy to follow. What stood out was how well he connected the history to the city as it exists today. It never felt like a dry lecture. Instead, it felt like being shown around by someone who truly knows and cares about Lyon. He also gave very good restaurant recommendations, the kind you actually want from a local rather than generic tourist suggestions. We went to one of them (Notre Maison) and it was very authentic and delicious. If you’re visiting Lyon and want a solid introduction to the city, its layout, and its history, this tour is absolutely worth your time.

5.00Paul was great, he sent us very useful information about Lyon when we booked the tour, so we based our trip on his recommendations. All the places we ate in Lyon were recommended by him and all were excellent. The tour was fun and interesting. He's an experienced guide and it shows, he's very good at his job.

5.00Our guide Paul was an excellent and gave us a great run down on the history of Lyon both recent and ancient. The small passages of the old silk weaving area was somewhere we would not have found by ourselves. Ending the tour through the old town areas was similarly well presented If you only have 2 days in Lyon this tour is a must Andrew and Trish
