  Nice way to see the stunning architecture of Melbourne from the river. The old bridges were interesting, but the modern buildings, particularly down river, were amazing. We went up and down river, but there was a slightly frustrating half an hour wait after the up river trip even though we stayed on the same boat.

• Just a very ordinary cruise.

  Kitchen chairs to sit on. Minimal commentary Free tea and coffee was cold. Airconditioned Easy to have a nap and not miss anything.

  Trip was a little confusing as we traveled up river first which was ok but not very exciting. Then returned to our departure point to disembark for 30min, to only embark again on the same boat to travel down river, which was not worth it as it’s just a view of building construction and container port.

  This cruise took us up river and down river for a wonderful, relaxing, educational and informative tour! It was a perfect follow up to the 2.5 hour walking tour that we completed just before it.

  We went in the late afternoon. Very relaxing cruise up and down the Yarra river. Cold drinks onboard at the bar. Highly recommend.

  This was a nice, leisurely trip up and down the river. The weather was good for me and so it was an enjoyable cruise.

• First 1 hour which is for ports and harbour trip is good. 2nd half an hour to gardens is not worth it.

  Very bad attitude from the cruise driver. Though we bought tickets online for 2 hours they were not able to recognise the booking and was relying on paper ticket which we lost once boarded on ship. We had to go to the counter and then she confirmed that the trip is for 2hours. Why rely on paper ticket so much when online tickets are available and can't they read the booking information?

  Booked 2-hour cruise. After 1 hour of (rather uninteresting) cruising we were told we would change boat to continue. But in addition, we would have to wait 1 hour before the next boat arrived, not at all what we had booked. Instead of 2 hours it would take 3 hours of which 1 hour break, not at all what we had booked. Tried to get compensation without success (everyone blamed everyone) and said that we were not entitled to compensation when we chose to cancel (we did not cancel, but chose not to follow through after the break when we had booked other things). The tour was quite uninteresting and not worth the money

  Great tour with excellent commentary learnt so much about Melbourne’s history. Great view from the seats and standing up the front
