We’ll explore Porto’s best viewpoints off-the-beaten-path as we travel slowly discovering the history and stories of Porto told by your private Local guide.
The rhythm is slow-paced with conversation, lots of stops, historical facts, curiosities, lots of photos gorgeous views!

5.00By far, the highlight of our Porto experience was our tour with Sidecar Tours. My mother and I were taken around the city in style by the fantastic Oscar. It was such a treat to ride through side streets and hidden paths while learning about Porto’s history and seeing countless beautiful sights. We had an amazing time and truly can’t say enough good things about this experience.

5.00I can honestly say this was some of the best money spent on our Porto vacation! Our guide, João, met us at our hotel ready for a 3-hour guided adventure. He arrived with a stunning new Ural motorcycle and sidecar in classic olive drab paint — such a stylish way to see the city! Helmets were provided, and before setting off we chatted about our interests and the sights we hoped to explore. From the moment we left the hotel, we felt like the envy of everyone we passed. The ride was smooth, the pace perfect — never rushed — and João’s knowledge of Porto was truly stellar. We cruised through charming side streets, visited historic churches, and stopped at cozy cafés, soaking up the city’s beauty and hospitality. João kept us entertained the entire time with his fun banter and fascinating local insights. His humor, warmth, and genuine love for Porto made this experience unforgettable. Thank you, João, for sharing your city and giving us such wonderful memories — this was truly a highlight of our trip!

5.00Highly recommend this experience. Joao was very informative and friendly. A great selection of stops for art and history. We had a nice break for coffee and pastry and Joao coordinated my drop off at a small fishing village for lunch.

5.00Pacio and Pedro were fantastic!!! This was easily the highlight of our week-long tour of Porto and Lisboa. We’d rate this tour as a 6-star tour if we could.

5.00Joao was a wonderful host in a beautiful city. He is the friendliest, most informative guide. If there are places you b want to see..or don't want to see.. He will customize your experience. If you're not sure..he will offer suggestions. He knows the history and the current situation and future plans for many parts of Porto. The sidecar is so much fun! Everyone waves at you..kind of jealous at how you're getting around! Spending time with Joao is making a friend. Enjoy!

5.00A friend recommended this tour and we are so glad they did. It was such a fun way to see the city from ( quite literally ) one end to the other, plus Gaia over the river. Our driver was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and very flexible to include our preferences. We booked the trip for our first day and it was a brilliant way to get our bearings and decided which areas we wanted to return to to see more. Honestly I wish all cities offered this tour as it is much more fun than the hop on hop off bus!

5.00The tour was a lot of fun. We did this on our 2nd day and that was ideal. So we immediately got a good idea of Porto and nice tips. The guide knew a lot to tell and did the tour with great enthusiasm and pleasure. A fun and special way to discover the city!

5.00What an awesome experience! Our side-car tour with Pedro was the highlight of our time in Porto. He was super friendly, polite, and made us feel like we were just hanging out with a friend while exploring the city. Pedro knows so much about Porto and shared great stories along the way, plus he took us to a fantastic local spot for lunch we never would’ve found on our own. The whole ride was fun from start to finish and such a unique and memorable way to see the city. Highly recommend!
