Set in a steep valley, this charming town of Fontaine de Vaucluse boasts an incredible natural site which has one of the highest flow rates in the world, is accessible via a path along the river. You will be charmed by the emerald green colour of its waters, and surprised by the power of its flow, especially in periods of flooding!

Take out your camera !!!!! One of the most beautiful and panoramic view in Provence. Its houses of white and gray stone rise up in a spiral around the rock where the village is set.

Highlights of Provence in one day - Gordana is amazing and made this trip quite memorable. She is a bundle of energy and information and kept us enthralled throughout the whole day tour. We covered a wide range of attractions from breathtaking mountain top villages to lavender fields, aqueducts with lunch at spectacular Roussillon.

Gordana is such the best tour guide I have met. Her English is more than great and informative. She’s also a well prepared person, offering us bottle of water. The car (Vanessa?) condition is really really really good. She’s funny and friendly. Keep saying to me “you had made it”, even though I missed a train to Avignon and rush to take uber to the pickup point.

Emily our guide was intelligent, very knowledge about all of Provence and also super sweet. Her professionalism Along with our driver’s knowledge also made This a Must take Provence tour. First class All the way. Would have loved to have about 10 More minutes at the Pont du Gard to gawk at it because it was so amazing, but other than that this is. 5++++ tour!!! I recommend..

If you’re ever in Avignon we would highly recommend taking the “Highlights of Provence in a Day” tour with the company Provence with Gordana. It was a long day (9am to 7pm), but well worth the time. Gordana and her daughter Emily were very engaging, enthusiastic, knowledgeable hosts. We visited some fantastic places including the cute village of L’Isle sur la Sorgues for the Sunday market, the lavender fields of the beautiful Luberon valley, and three very different “perched” hill towns. The first was pretty Gordes, then the ochre hill town of Roussillon where we had a delicious lunch (not included, but a great recommendation from Gordana for the restaurant), and finally the spectacularly situated and beautiful Les Baux de Provence. We also had a walking tour of pretty St Remy de Provence and finished at the very famous and impressive Pont du Gard. On the way home we were treated to a stunning view of Avignon from Barthelasse Island across the Rhone from the city.

We have been on 2 similar tours to the Provence in years past. By far, Gordana was the best tour guide. She was delightful, enthusiastic, a wealth of information. She made this tour through the Provence much more interesting while we travelled in her van. You will definitely enjoy this tour, so don’t hesitate to book with her.
